ANY BUYING/SELLING IN THIS FORUM WILL RESULT IN AN INSTANT BAN!

Read the rules: http://www.cb7tuner.com/vbb/showthread.php?t=43956

Myself, and the other mods have been very nice and lenient with the rules. We have been deleting threads, and giving out warnings. Some members didn't get the clue and re-posted over and over... Now ANY member buying or selling in this section will be banned... No IF's AND's or BUT's.

Beginner Forum Rules - EVERYBODY read! (old and new members alike!)

Beginners start here. Once you have 30 worthwhile posts (off topic doesn't count) you may post outside of the Beginner forums. Any "whoring" (posting simply to raise your post count) will return your count to 0, or result in a ban.

These are the rules. Read them. Live by them.

1) Absolutely NO flaming! "Flaming" is an outright attack on a member. ALL questions are encouraged to be asked here, no matter how basic. Members with over 30 posts will be subject to a ONE WEEK ban if caught flaming in this forum (and yes, moderators can read deleted posts). Members with under 30 posts will be subject to a ONE DAY ban.

2) Use appropriate language. Racial or sexual slurs will not be tolerated. A ban will be issued at the discretion of the cb7tuner.com staff.

3) No items may be sold in the Beginner forums. Any "for sale" threads will be deleted.

4) Temporarily banned members will be PERMANTLY banned if they are found posting on another account.

The rules can and will be added to. Any updates will be marked in the title.

The rules for the overall forum can be found here:
http://www.cb7tuner.com/vbb/forumdisplay.php?f=144
Read them. You will be expected to follow them.

What motor should i go with.

Ok I know theres alot of threads about this but I want to ask for my own. I have a stock F22, I always wanted to do an H swap but is it really worth it? I want the car as a everyday driver not a drag car but still have power to kick some civic/integras ass.. Would upgrading the f be better then an h or what

Upgrading the F to what the H outputs is more expensive. The H is far from fast or a drag car but will be reliable as it is a non modified Honda Engine.

depends what H series you want, the f20b vtec is a great motor and its the same as the h22 sorta, the f22 is a great motor as well!! you just gotta build it and properly build it...

what are you goals, also think about what direction you want to go to....

Which one would be an easier swap? F20 or h?

Also looks like it would be easier to find then an h22 since everyone and their mothers wants one..

H is the easiest swap of any of the more powerfull engines, and if you want reliable power get something that has a lot stock so you dont have to modify it as much. Getting the F22 any power requires a turbo or barely streetable all-motor.

I'm doing an H22A swap now but more by default than anything. I'd rather have an F20B, but it's more involving and I just want to get driving again (biking/walking for the last 8 months!). Same power but more rev-happy, just less torque, however I like the relationship to motorsports of an even 2.0 liters. Maybe some day though. The F20B was never offered in America, btw.

for that question, the search function would be great. Check out some MRT(member Ride Threads) and see what they have done and how difficult it was. each build or swap will be different even if it is the same exact thing due to hidden variables.

This is simply a matter of research and opinion... it is not a technical thread at all. Locked.
