ANY BUYING/SELLING IN THIS FORUM WILL RESULT IN AN INSTANT BAN!

Read the rules: http://www.cb7tuner.com/vbb/showthread.php?t=43956

Myself, and the other mods have been very nice and lenient with the rules. We have been deleting threads, and giving out warnings. Some members didn't get the clue and re-posted over and over... Now ANY member buying or selling in this section will be banned... No IF's AND's or BUT's.

Beginner Forum Rules - EVERYBODY read! (old and new members alike!)

Beginners start here. Once you have 30 worthwhile posts (off topic doesn't count) you may post outside of the Beginner forums. Any "whoring" (posting simply to raise your post count) will return your count to 0, or result in a ban.

These are the rules. Read them. Live by them.

1) Absolutely NO flaming! "Flaming" is an outright attack on a member. ALL questions are encouraged to be asked here, no matter how basic. Members with over 30 posts will be subject to a ONE WEEK ban if caught flaming in this forum (and yes, moderators can read deleted posts). Members with under 30 posts will be subject to a ONE DAY ban.

2) Use appropriate language. Racial or sexual slurs will not be tolerated. A ban will be issued at the discretion of the cb7tuner.com staff.

3) No items may be sold in the Beginner forums. Any "for sale" threads will be deleted.

4) Temporarily banned members will be PERMANTLY banned if they are found posting on another account.

The rules can and will be added to. Any updates will be marked in the title.

The rules for the overall forum can be found here:

Read them. You will be expected to follow them.

      Is my gas mileage bad…

I own a 91 Accord Ex that’s stock. Everytime i’m at the gas station, i make sure to fill the whole tank and to reset the odometer ‘’Almost 15.5 gallons” it usually gives me around 220-250 miles for the whole tank. I’m i getting good mileage on my car???

        thats roughly about 402.33600 kilometers

i wouldn't think its THAT bad... however can be better.

general maintenance would definitely benefit you, proper tires, and so forth.

I would visually inspect everything first. Cap and rotor are all easy to take off and check, so are the spark plugs and air filter. Plug wires you'd need a multimeter to check resistance but not everyone has one. Fuel filter I change every 15,000miles/25,000kms which for me is once a year and most times I pick up a used car, it looks like it's been never changed.

Another thing to consider is if it's got high mileage and the O2 sensor is still original, good chance it's tired and you'd benefit from a new one (NTK or Denso only). The CEL will usually not come on even if it's time to change it.

Wow, that must be like 100% city lol. I do roughly 70% highway driving but I was getting 550kms per 55L and after the 5 speed swap/converting from f22a4 to f22a6, I get about 600kms per 55L.

I normally fill up at about 330-350 miles, and thats about 12.5-13.5 gallons. Which averages to just around 25mpg, which is what the combined city/hwy milage is for our cars if i'm not mistaken.
