ANY BUYING/SELLING IN THIS FORUM WILL RESULT IN AN INSTANT BAN!

Read the rules: http://www.cb7tuner.com/vbb/showthread.php?t=43956

Myself, and the other mods have been very nice and lenient with the rules. We have been deleting threads, and giving out warnings. Some members didn't get the clue and re-posted over and over... Now ANY member buying or selling in this section will be banned... No IF's AND's or BUT's.

Beginner Forum Rules - EVERYBODY read! (old and new members alike!)

Beginners start here. Once you have 30 worthwhile posts (off topic doesn't count) you may post outside of the Beginner forums. Any "whoring" (posting simply to raise your post count) will return your count to 0, or result in a ban.

These are the rules. Read them. Live by them.

1) Absolutely NO flaming! "Flaming" is an outright attack on a member. ALL questions are encouraged to be asked here, no matter how basic. Members with over 30 posts will be subject to a ONE WEEK ban if caught flaming in this forum (and yes, moderators can read deleted posts). Members with under 30 posts will be subject to a ONE DAY ban.

2) Use appropriate language. Racial or sexual slurs will not be tolerated. A ban will be issued at the discretion of the cb7tuner.com staff.

3) No items may be sold in the Beginner forums. Any "for sale" threads will be deleted.

4) Temporarily banned members will be PERMANTLY banned if they are found posting on another account.

The rules can and will be added to. Any updates will be marked in the title.

The rules for the overall forum can be found here:

Read them. You will be expected to follow them.

    Cb7 Wont start need help

Okay guys I will try to be as specific as possible. I was driving down the road going about 45 miles per hour .All of the sudden the car acted like i was in one spot just revving. I pulled over and checked each gear and the car would not move. I automatically thought transmission , but then the car shut off while parked and now it hasn't turned back on. The diagnostic light goes off then immediately comes back on when i turn the key . The cel codes are 6 and 10 . The transmission computer is also giving off a blink of code 10. I have no crank , just a blank attempt to start . Any ideas would be helpful before i take it to the shop and get charged an arm and a leg . Thanks guys Also timing belt was done 7,000 miles ago

I may be stupid but those codes will not cause the car to act up like yours did, but my first priority would be check the ECU itself because once a ecus caps fry it will just act up by throwing random codes but I may be wrong due to the fact that if a ECU fries it will not be able to throw codes as just solid CEL.

I would take the valve cover off and check to see of the timing belt is not broken

I pulled the computer and opened it and d12 and d13 are completely fried. I do not have schematics for what those circuits represent but hopefully they are whats causing my issue. Gonna swap a working ecu and ill get back to you guys . thanks

So i replaced the ecu with a fully functional one and still same issue . no start plus cel light comes on immediately after it goes off. same codes 6 and 10

theres a short/open circuit somewhere, check your wiring diagrams. Have you check all grounds?
