ANY BUYING/SELLING IN THIS FORUM WILL RESULT IN AN INSTANT BAN!

Read the rules: http://www.cb7tuner.com/vbb/showthread.php?t=43956

Myself, and the other mods have been very nice and lenient with the rules. We have been deleting threads, and giving out warnings. Some members didn't get the clue and re-posted over and over... Now ANY member buying or selling in this section will be banned... No IF's AND's or BUT's.

Beginner Forum Rules - EVERYBODY read! (old and new members alike!)

Beginners start here. Once you have 30 worthwhile posts (off topic doesn't count) you may post outside of the Beginner forums. Any "whoring" (posting simply to raise your post count) will return your count to 0, or result in a ban.

These are the rules. Read them. Live by them.

1) Absolutely NO flaming! "Flaming" is an outright attack on a member. ALL questions are encouraged to be asked here, no matter how basic. Members with over 30 posts will be subject to a ONE WEEK ban if caught flaming in this forum (and yes, moderators can read deleted posts). Members with under 30 posts will be subject to a ONE DAY ban.

2) Use appropriate language. Racial or sexual slurs will not be tolerated. A ban will be issued at the discretion of the cb7tuner.com staff.

3) No items may be sold in the Beginner forums. Any "for sale" threads will be deleted.

4) Temporarily banned members will be PERMANTLY banned if they are found posting on another account.

The rules can and will be added to. Any updates will be marked in the title.

The rules for the overall forum can be found here:

Read them. You will be expected to follow them.

that depends on what year the wagon is. CB9's are obd1. CE1's can be either i think. 97(?) is when they started obd2?

      OBD2 started in 96.

      All CB Accords are OBD1

General rule of thumb is anything 96 and later is obd2 and anything 95 and earlier is obd1

There are a few exeptions to this, such as the 1995 accord v6 and 1995 acura NSX which are both obd2 vehicles

So to answer your question yes your 92 is obd1

If the h22 you are swapping in is obd1, you should be able to use your existing harness with the exception of extending the wires to your injector plugs if I remember correctly. If it's obd2, you can go option1: get a obd1 dizzy and alternator and swap it over, option2: get a obd1 to obd2 jumper harness (hondata sells them). I believe there are some other solutions as well, but I'm not entirely knowledgeable about them so I won't mention them.

True. All North American CB Accords are OBD1.

IMO if you dont know if your car is obd1 or 2 the h22 swap is a little out of your league.

Not if he has the cash to pay someone to do it.

Even then... I made the mistake of paying a shop to do my swap back in 2003, before it was well documented on here... I'm STILL fixing the crap they did wrong, after I had to learn most of it just to teach them what to do!

Paying someone to do it doesn't always mean you can remain in blissful ignorance. If you don't know what to do, you won't know if THEY don't know what they're doing!

Fine he can pay sombody to do it. But if it was me he was paying to do it i would sell him the golden gate bridge just for the fact he doesn't know whats going on. And when it breaks down how is he going to fix it he is now going to have to take it back to the shop and dish out more money. My friend was the same way he didn't know nothing and paid dearly for it. Now he has wasted a lot of money fixing there bullshit. And now he learend how to do it himself from fixing there screw ups.
