ANY BUYING/SELLING IN THIS FORUM WILL RESULT IN AN INSTANT BAN!

Read the rules: http://www.cb7tuner.com/vbb/showthread.php?t=43956

Myself, and the other mods have been very nice and lenient with the rules. We have been deleting threads, and giving out warnings. Some members didn't get the clue and re-posted over and over... Now ANY member buying or selling in this section will be banned... No IF's AND's or BUT's.

Beginner Forum Rules - EVERYBODY read! (old and new members alike!)

Beginners start here. Once you have 30 worthwhile posts (off topic doesn't count) you may post outside of the Beginner forums. Any "whoring" (posting simply to raise your post count) will return your count to 0, or result in a ban.

These are the rules. Read them. Live by them.

1) Absolutely NO flaming! "Flaming" is an outright attack on a member. ALL questions are encouraged to be asked here, no matter how basic. Members with over 30 posts will be subject to a ONE WEEK ban if caught flaming in this forum (and yes, moderators can read deleted posts). Members with under 30 posts will be subject to a ONE DAY ban.

2) Use appropriate language. Racial or sexual slurs will not be tolerated. A ban will be issued at the discretion of the cb7tuner.com staff.

3) No items may be sold in the Beginner forums. Any "for sale" threads will be deleted.

4) Temporarily banned members will be PERMANTLY banned if they are found posting on another account.

The rules can and will be added to. Any updates will be marked in the title.

The rules for the overall forum can be found here:

    Removing underhood fuseblock

So here is the issue. I was trying to remove the top piece of the fuseblock under the hood and then I decided not to because I felt I was going to damage it if I pried any harder so I just started putting everything back together. As I was putting all the screws back in that hold the larger fuses in I realized the back that the screw screws into was no longer there. It is the threaded back for the driver side screw for the 80 amp battery fuse. So now I have to figure this shit out or I am fucked. Any body ever have any luck separating the halves?

if nothing else you could try soldering the wire to the connector to get you by for a few days till you figure out what to do.

I've never done it on an accord, but typically there are a bunch of plastic clips around the sides that need to be pryed apart with a small flathead screwdriver to get it apart. They aren't always obvious, get a flashlight and look very closely till you find the clips and figure out how they release.

rx7 the issue was that the fuse would not stay properly planted in the box and i feared as i would drive it would arc and bad shit would happen.

wherm i ended up completely removing the fuseblock and prying it open as far as i could and managed to get the insert in view and then with my teeny tiny flathead i coaxed it back into it's seat and put everything back together. It appears that the top piece of the fuse block is plastic spotwelded near the center. If I ever have the need to again or find myself in possession of an accord ecu with no use I will document it's seperation.
