ANY BUYING/SELLING IN THIS FORUM WILL RESULT IN AN INSTANT BAN!

Read the rules: http://www.cb7tuner.com/vbb/showthread.php?t=43956

Myself, and the other mods have been very nice and lenient with the rules. We have been deleting threads, and giving out warnings. Some members didn't get the clue and re-posted over and over... Now ANY member buying or selling in this section will be banned... No IF's AND's or BUT's.

Beginner Forum Rules - EVERYBODY read! (old and new members alike!)

Beginners start here. Once you have 30 worthwhile posts (off topic doesn't count) you may post outside of the Beginner forums. Any "whoring" (posting simply to raise your post count) will return your count to 0, or result in a ban.

These are the rules. Read them. Live by them.

1) Absolutely NO flaming! "Flaming" is an outright attack on a member. ALL questions are encouraged to be asked here, no matter how basic. Members with over 30 posts will be subject to a ONE WEEK ban if caught flaming in this forum (and yes, moderators can read deleted posts). Members with under 30 posts will be subject to a ONE DAY ban.

2) Use appropriate language. Racial or sexual slurs will not be tolerated. A ban will be issued at the discretion of the cb7tuner.com staff.

3) No items may be sold in the Beginner forums. Any "for sale" threads will be deleted.

4) Temporarily banned members will be PERMANTLY banned if they are found posting on another account.

The rules can and will be added to. Any updates will be marked in the title.

      Tire
      205/40/17 = A/B/C
      A = width in mm (how fat they are looking at them dead on)
      B = wall height (how big the tire profile is)
      17 = Inner tire diameter (rim size)

      rim
      17x7 = DxF
      D = diameter
      F = tire width in inches

      pattern 4x114.5 = GxH
      G = number of lugs
      H = spacing between lugs (ours are 4x114.5)

      hope this helps

            Holy shit, lordoja spelled it out for you.
            Only thing he messed up on is that ours are 4x114.3, not .5. But, that was probably just a typo.

              They will bolt on, and the tires are a good size (though I would prefer a 45 aspect ratio, not 40... I had 40 and dented the shit out of my wheels... the aspect ratio is lordoja's "B" above.)

              You need to know the offset of the wheels to know if they'll fit properly, though. If the offset is somewhere around +38 to +42, you'll be fine.

                  B is more throughly explained below.

                  From tire rack:

                  Sidewall Aspect Ratio
                  Typically following the three digits identifying the tire's Section Width in millimeters is a two-digit number that identifies the tire's profile or aspect ratio.

                  P225/50R16 91S

                  The 50 indicates that this tire size's sidewall height (from rim to tread) is 50% of its section width. The measurement is the tire's section height, and also referred to as the tire's series, profile or aspect ratio. The higher the number, the taller the sidewall; the lower the number, the lower the sidewall. We know that this tire size's section width is 225mm and that its section height is 50% of 225mm. By converting the 225mm to inches (225 / 25.4 = 8.86") and multiplying it by 50% (.50) we confirm that this tire size results in a tire section height of 4.43". If this tire were a P225/70R16 size, our calculation would confirm that the size would result in a section height of 6.20", approximately a 1.8-inch taller sidewall.

                  I believe H is more correctly defined as the diameter of a hub-centric circle that all of the holes are drilled on. As others have stated, it is 114.3mm or 4.5 inches.
