ANY BUYING/SELLING IN THIS FORUM WILL RESULT IN AN INSTANT BAN!

Read the rules: http://www.cb7tuner.com/vbb/showthread.php?t=43956

Myself, and the other mods have been very nice and lenient with the rules. We have been deleting threads, and giving out warnings. Some members didn't get the clue and re-posted over and over... Now ANY member buying or selling in this section will be banned... No IF's AND's or BUT's.

Beginner Forum Rules - EVERYBODY read! (old and new members alike!)

Beginners start here. Once you have 30 worthwhile posts (off topic doesn't count) you may post outside of the Beginner forums. Any "whoring" (posting simply to raise your post count) will return your count to 0, or result in a ban.

These are the rules. Read them. Live by them.

1) Absolutely NO flaming! "Flaming" is an outright attack on a member. ALL questions are encouraged to be asked here, no matter how basic. Members with over 30 posts will be subject to a ONE WEEK ban if caught flaming in this forum (and yes, moderators can read deleted posts). Members with under 30 posts will be subject to a ONE DAY ban.

2) Use appropriate language. Racial or sexual slurs will not be tolerated. A ban will be issued at the discretion of the cb7tuner.com staff.

3) No items may be sold in the Beginner forums. Any "for sale" threads will be deleted.

4) Temporarily banned members will be PERMANTLY banned if they are found posting on another account.

The rules can and will be added to. Any updates will be marked in the title.

The rules for the overall forum can be found here:

    K20 Swap .

I was reading on all possible Honda / Acura swaps earlier today and up until like a few years ago , it seemed like the H22 was the swap ! Now everyone's arguing the H22vsK20 (H23 also but H22 more) and more and more ppl are struggling with the K20 . Everyone wants to bet that there H22 can beat the K20 and vice versa . Any CB member have a K20 in their Accord or seen one ?? It doesn't even seem like this swap would be worth it in our cars but I would love to see how a K20 would pull in a CB !

2point6 has a crv k24 in his accord. I think that is about it. I know one guy was trying to put a k20 in his accord but it's never ran.

its all about what you wanna do with your car. not many people are willing to drop that amount of money into a 90-93 accord. performance wise, the kseries engines own h22's all day long. its a stronger motor from the factory, and has the ivtec system allowing cam more cam adjustment vs. h22. stock k's have been now to make over 500whp bone stock.

so like i said it all about what you want, and how much you are willing to spend to get it. they are many members that will say its too much money, and not worth it. but that is up to you too decide.

if you do decide to try this swap. do your research first. you can ask 2point6 questions but sometimes he is busy running his business. you can ask me, my build is 95% done. and there are a few other members who are doing kswaps too.

the only k20 that you can put in a cb7 with the current mount kits available is the k20a from a euroR accord.

Right. The Civic/Integra/RSX K20s will not fit without modification with the mount kit available to us.

The K24 is less performance-oriented than the H22 from the factory, but has plenty of potential when modified.

Both the K series and the H series can make plenty of power. The K has more potential, and an aftermarket that is growing rather than shrinking (like the H22's market), but either one can make more power than the average person would need on a street car. If you're building a full race car, then chances are you're working with a much larger budget anyway!
