Beginner Forum Rules - EVERYBODY read! (old and new members alike!)
Beginners start here. Once you have 30 worthwhile posts (off topic doesn't count) you may post outside of the Beginner forums. Any "whoring" (posting simply to raise your post count) will return your count to 0, or result in a ban.
These are the rules. Read them. Live by them.
1) Absolutely NO flaming! "Flaming" is an outright attack on a member. ALL questions are encouraged to be asked here, no matter how basic. Members with over 30 posts will be subject to a ONE WEEK ban if caught flaming in this forum (and yes, moderators can read deleted posts). Members with under 30 posts will be subject to a ONE DAY ban.
2) Use appropriate language. Racial or sexual slurs will not be tolerated. A ban will be issued at the discretion of the cb7tuner.com staff.
3) No items may be sold in the Beginner forums. Any "for sale" threads will be deleted.
4) Temporarily banned members will be PERMANTLY banned if they are found posting on another account.
The rules can and will be added to. Any updates will be marked in the title.
The rules for the overall forum can be found here:

well yes as someone said "hit or miss"..i bought mine back in feb 08..has been fine ever since untill recently the hangers on the muffler broke......
but..........i ended up buying a nother one for a friend....zmanwit90accord,and over looking the product befor install and revealed the 3rd piece of the set has crazy burnthrough on the all the welds and the muffler is a 4in tip cannon with a inner resinator of the muffler hole is only 2in so the thing is gonna be crazy loud and raspy and probably gonna break in the next year after install.....and it didnt even come with a scilencer....smh

Like I already told many people before you, this is probably the cheapest and best route to go to get a great exhaust system.
Do not buy a complete header back or cat back exhaust system. You will end up spending more money that way.
What you should do is buy a good muffler like the Apexi WS2. Get the muffler only. You can find the WS2 for like $250 on eBay.
Here is a link I found with a quick search:
http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/Apexi...item35b0827e44
Next, if you need a new cat what you should do is get a Magnaflow 22631 direct fit. You can find one for around $70. This cat does not have any rasp at all, will not lower your hp, and will pass emissions in all areas.
Here is a link:

After you get your muffler and your cat, take your parts to a good exhaust shop and have them bend up custom 2.5 inch piping and weld your muffler in.
This system will cost you less then what you would pay for a whole header back/cat back exhaust system, you will have 2.5 inch piping, and you wont have to do any of the work yourself.
And trust me, you will be really happy with the sound and performance.
I know you said you only have about $250 to spend but you should really save up a little more to do it the right way.
If you have a welder or know someone with a welder, you can always buy just the muffler, cut your muffler out, and weld the new muffler to your existing piping.Last edited by AbsurdNY; 03-24-2011, 12:46 PM.

Honestly, "eBay" exhaust (non brand name) are good for one purpose : their piping.
$100-$120 for stainless steel exhaust pipe, with a resonator already welded in, is a good deal.
Buy a nice muffler and have that welded on in place of the fart cannon.
Hell, KTeller's 2.5" stainless steel piping is $215 without a muffler.

my friend just bought a header pipe combo from ebay i thought it sounded fucking gross would not have spent the money on it... but im surprised no one has metentioned the "best buy" for cars.. your local junk yards i found this bad boy at mine for a meere 25 bucks...
really should have taken it to an exhaust shop then doing it at home lol not the master welder here haha the pipe started to hang a lil so i had to hold it up with some wires lol...Last edited by cb7freak91; 04-07-2011, 01:28 PM.Freaks Crew! FB pg
