ANY BUYING/SELLING IN THIS FORUM WILL RESULT IN AN INSTANT BAN!

Read the rules: http://www.cb7tuner.com/vbb/showthread.php?t=43956

Myself, and the other mods have been very nice and lenient with the rules. We have been deleting threads, and giving out warnings. Some members didn't get the clue and re-posted over and over... Now ANY member buying or selling in this section will be banned... No IF's AND's or BUT's.

Beginner Forum Rules - EVERYBODY read! (old and new members alike!)

Beginners start here. Once you have 30 worthwhile posts (off topic doesn't count) you may post outside of the Beginner forums. Any "whoring" (posting simply to raise your post count) will return your count to 0, or result in a ban.

These are the rules. Read them. Live by them.

1) Absolutely NO flaming! "Flaming" is an outright attack on a member. ALL questions are encouraged to be asked here, no matter how basic. Members with over 30 posts will be subject to a ONE WEEK ban if caught flaming in this forum (and yes, moderators can read deleted posts). Members with under 30 posts will be subject to a ONE DAY ban.

2) Use appropriate language. Racial or sexual slurs will not be tolerated. A ban will be issued at the discretion of the cb7tuner.com staff.

3) No items may be sold in the Beginner forums. Any "for sale" threads will be deleted.

4) Temporarily banned members will be PERMANTLY banned if they are found posting on another account.

The rules can and will be added to. Any updates will be marked in the title.

Just go to any exhaust shop and they should be able to give you a universal muffler for around $60. Or go on eBay they should have some for that or less, then just pay for the labor.

Aftermarket or OEM replacement? if oem replacement, check out Rockauto.com, if it's aftermarket-yes you could try ebay. your stock piping diameter is 1-7/8", most inlets on "performance" mufflers are either 2.25" or 2.5", most generally 2.5. If i were you, i'd just go ahead and replace with a stock replacement.

      life is good.

            ebay /local muffler shop

ebay is the cheapest, the sizes really dont matter too much because any decent welding shp should know the techniques.

OEM is generally the best to run. (in my opinion) not sure about any emission laws there, or noise concerns, but the loud muffler can be annoying after a while. talking on your cell phone on the high way with the windows up and all you hear is bbaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa made me change mine. also from my parts they have outlawed the so call "angry mosquito" mufflers. plus OEM gives you the gas mileage back that a "high flow" muffler would rob. And lets be real, changing from stock OEM muffler to a "pissed off bumble bee" muffler really doesn't give you a drivable, noticeable gain in horsepower. maybe on the dyno its 2-4 hp but won't shave seconds off your time at the drag strip

                        The past, to present.

Want a cheap one? Go to Advance and get one of the Raptor mufflers they have. They're 25-30 bucks. Had one on my accord when I first got the exhaust done, and it sounded pretty good with the exhaust straight from the cat, back.

                            Locked.

The best answers have been given... either go to a shop and get their generic stuff put on, or pick up a cheapie online and pay for the labor.

There are too many idiots on here that don't bother reading the entire thread before posting.
