Myself, and the other mods have been very nice and lenient with the rules. We have been deleting threads, and giving out warnings. Some members didn't get the clue and re-posted over and over... Now ANY member buying or selling in this section will be banned... No IF's AND's or BUT's.

Beginner Forum Rules - EVERYBODY read! (old and new members alike!)

Beginners start here. Once you have 30 worthwhile posts (off topic doesn't count) you may post outside of the Beginner forums. Any "whoring" (posting simply to raise your post count) will return your count to 0, or result in a ban.

These are the rules. Read them. Live by them.

1) Absolutely NO flaming! "Flaming" is an outright attack on a member. ALL questions are encouraged to be asked here, no matter how basic. Members with over 30 posts will be subject to a ONE WEEK ban if caught flaming in this forum (and yes, moderators can read deleted posts). Members with under 30 posts will be subject to a ONE DAY ban.

2) Use appropriate language. Racial or sexual slurs will not be tolerated. A ban will be issued at the discretion of the cb7tuner.com staff.

3) No items may be sold in the Beginner forums. Any "for sale" threads will be deleted.

4) Temporarily banned members will be PERMANTLY banned if they are found posting on another account.

The rules can and will be added to. Any updates will be marked in the title.

    Dead Battery

    okay well i been having this problem for a couple days now , and its really starting to anoy me, my battery will not stay charged over night, ill give it a jumb in the morning and i can drive for about 5-10 mins and then my electronice seem to start shuting off, frist my radio goes, and if i press the brake it will turn off and on agian, also if i have my headlight on the radio shuts off , all this will happen for about 10 mins as soon as i park the car and leave it on , everything goes back to normal for another 5-10 mins then it will act funny agian. the battery will have some juice left in it to start a couple times , but then it will jus completely die and i would have to jumb it , i took it to my local auto zone, and had a test run for the alternator and there computers are telling me tht it is fine, idk wht the problem can be cuase i changed my alternator about 4 months ago, changed battery 4 months ago and put ne battery terminals on it ....i have no clus wht can be the cuase of the problem, if any one has a possible clus wht it can be or knows some thing i can do the locate the problem causer let me know asap . thank yu

    I'd say have the alternator tested (best to go to two different places to be sure, since many autoparts stores either have crap equipment, or incompetent employees... it's free to do.)

    Other than that, be sure all battery connections and grounds are clean and tight. Perhaps put some conductive grease on your terminals.

      yeah i think thts wht ima do maybe it can be something little or a big problem i jus wanna have my car running the right way

        It's a pretty simple system... alternator, battery, and wires. That's it. Your problem is in one of those three. Since the battery will take a jump, I'm assuming it's not completely dead (though that is also a possibility... it may be a faulty battery.) Either the alternator has failed, and isnt' charging as it should... or the wires aren't transferring the power as they should.
