sway bar install ?

does anyone know of any pics of how the sway bar should be connected to the lower control arm on the front ? I think I put my sway bar on the wrong way ? it doesnt sit properly! I've searched here and google and it doesnt even have it in the manual ?

Sorry, I'll turn it around on you - do you have a picture of how you installed it? Did you install the whole bar or just link kits? If you installed the whole bar, there are only two ways to put it in, one wrong and one right. If you put it in wrong, I don't think you can get the ends near enough to the control arms to attach the link kits. The ends have a shallow V shape to clear where the lower control arms attach to the structure, then the ends bend up some and should end up above the control arms.

lol thanks alot it helped, It looks like u can put it on the wrong way like i did ! I put the sway underneath the lower control and drove it around lmfao!

With your sway bar be careful of your bushings you use and the bolt used with it.


That is mine. When I put it on fresh. But now there gone the must of rubbed so much the wore/broke off. the lock nut wasnt the right one.

Now I have to replace them again.
