ANY BUYING/SELLING IN THIS FORUM WILL RESULT IN AN INSTANT BAN!

Read the rules: http://www.cb7tuner.com/vbb/showthread.php?t=43956

Myself, and the other mods have been very nice and lenient with the rules. We have been deleting threads, and giving out warnings. Some members didn't get the clue and re-posted over and over... Now ANY member buying or selling in this section will be banned... No IF's AND's or BUT's.
2 of 2 < >

Beginner Forum Rules - EVERYBODY read! (old and new members alike!)

Beginners start here. Once you have 30 worthwhile posts (off topic doesn't count) you may post outside of the Beginner forums. Any "whoring" (posting simply to raise your post count) will return your count to 0, or result in a ban.

These are the rules. Read them. Live by them.

1) Absolutely NO flaming! "Flaming" is an outright attack on a member. ALL questions are encouraged to be asked here, no matter how basic. Members with over 30 posts will be subject to a ONE WEEK ban if caught flaming in this forum (and yes, moderators can read deleted posts). Members with under 30 posts will be subject to a ONE DAY ban.

2) Use appropriate language. Racial or sexual slurs will not be tolerated. A ban will be issued at the discretion of the cb7tuner.com staff.

3) No items may be sold in the Beginner forums. Any "for sale" threads will be deleted.

4) Temporarily banned members will be PERMANTLY banned if they are found posting on another account.

The rules can and will be added to. Any updates will be marked in the title.

The rules for the overall forum can be found here:
http://www.cb7tuner.com/vbb/forumdisplay.php?f=144
Read them. You will be expected to follow them.

Better off with a JDM swap

The thing about the autos is a duel ecu. The transmission has its own computer that gets signal from the Ecu... Hondata will not work. I suggest a piggy back system that is close to being a stand alone. Universal tranny oil cooler and you are good for a little while. But your engine will probably only be able to withstand 30lb of boost safely, depended on the mileage. And yeah... change the tranny oil often. A new turbo kit will cost just about what you would spend on an h22 plus tranny. A little extra for bolt ons and you can get 200hp as apposed to a boosted f22 with factory internals auto... about 160hp tops.

      30lb of boost.

Man, you really don't know what you're talking about, do you?
Our engines will take no more than 10lb reliably with a properly sized turbo. Some have pushed it higher, but most that have tried it ended up ruining their engine very quickly.

Sorry, the H22 can take 3lb stock internal... f22 is a memory I never experienced. 1lb of boost=10hp thus boost f22 140hp which is sad.

        Transplanted before I drove it...

            I'm sorry... No...

You need to start reading about how turbochargers work. If you say wrong information like that around here, everybody will just laugh at you.

You didn't give any other info...
And to be quite honest, what is wrong with your info? You are saying completely false things as if they were fact. Some dumbass is going to believe it, continue spreading it, and we'll be fighting that fire for months. Furthermore, someone might actually try to do it, and blow up their motor.

If you don't know what you are talking about, don't say anything. Or just leave this forum and go somewhere where people think you're smart.

Backtalking, are you serious? Look here, son... I'm a grown man who can admit to his own mistakes. No matter what happens here, I'll still be cruising.

Actually, that's my car in that picture. Thanks for the insults, though. (dani, please remove it... or I will. This is the second time some jackass has insulted that horrible picture... I'm not very pleased.)

This thread has gone far enough. I'm locking this, and banning you two idiots for three days. Try behaving like adults in the future, ok? Thanks.
