ANY BUYING/SELLING IN THIS FORUM WILL RESULT IN AN INSTANT BAN!

Read the rules: http://www.cb7tuner.com/vbb/showthread.php?t=43956

Myself, and the other mods have been very nice and lenient with the rules. We have been deleting threads, and giving out warnings. Some members didn't get the clue and re-posted over and over... Now ANY member buying or selling in this section will be banned... No IF's AND's or BUT's.

Beginner Forum Rules - EVERYBODY read! (old and new members alike!)

Beginners start here. Once you have 30 worthwhile posts (off topic doesn't count) you may post outside of the Beginner forums. Any "whoring" (posting simply to raise your post count) will return your count to 0, or result in a ban.

These are the rules. Read them. Live by them.

1) Absolutely NO flaming! "Flaming" is an outright attack on a member. ALL questions are encouraged to be asked here, no matter how basic. Members with over 30 posts will be subject to a ONE WEEK ban if caught flaming in this forum (and yes, moderators can read deleted posts). Members with under 30 posts will be subject to a ONE DAY ban.

2) Use appropriate language. Racial or sexual slurs will not be tolerated. A ban will be issued at the discretion of the cb7tuner.com staff.

3) No items may be sold in the Beginner forums. Any "for sale" threads will be deleted.

4) Temporarily banned members will be PERMANTLY banned if they are found posting on another account.

The rules can and will be added to. Any updates will be marked in the title.

The rules for the overall forum can be found here:

    elusive oil leak

O.K. Thanks all for the leads on the oil sensor switch and the oil cooler "O" ring.
However, after cleaning those areas and driving for a long while it does not appear to be that simple. Also, the burning of oil on my downpipe gets really bad when I drive the car harder,(higher rpm's) . Obviously from the increased oil pressure I imagine. I have included pictures in hopes someone will give me another lead. As well... Where the hell is my oil cooler? Am I mistaken that it is not there? Yes this is a 92 EX and an f22a6.

    Oil covering the oil pan.

Oil covering the Air conditioning bracket

    Oil at the bell housing

Like I said,"Where is my oil cooler?" Missing right?

However the back of the block is the cleanest of oil
You can see under the oil sensor is clean.

Here is the iol burning on the downpipe.

Any Ideas? Thanks for the time and help.

looks like the main seal is leaking. also change the oil pan gasket as well. have you tried to tighten the oil pan gasket bolts ?

A man that keeps looking back can't see whats in front of him.

I had the same issue with my F22a6 also.

It was my oil cooler gasket.

I solved it by swapping out to an H22, but it seems im starting to have the same problem again (time to flush and replace my radiator)

As for your problem, i dont see the oil cooler in your pictures either.

It could be your oil pan gasket that is leaking thus causing the oil to drip.

If the A/C bracket has oil on it too, that could also indicate the oil pan gasket, or maybe the the oil pump and or cam cap seals.

your oil leak is the oilpan gasket ,the rear main seal doesnt leak that often on accords, also your oil pressure switch is leaking. and your engine does not have a oil cooler . i would replace the oil pan gasket and switch first, and when you have the oil pan off have a nut for the drain bolt welded on......

Yeah, thought that should be obvious that oil was dripping off every oil pan bolt.
No I have not tried tightening them. But I will just replace it this week.

I'll be doing a timing belt change in February so I'll get a better look at the pump then.
As for the cam seals, I changed my lower and upper spark plug seals and it was dry of any oil on the ends of the cam.
The timing belt cover and pulley were all bone dry too.

The switch looks dry on the block. But, that wire and cap on the switch are soaked.
Guess Ill do that anyway this week and the oil pan.
As for the oil cooler, " what the hell happened to my oil cooler", lol.
Guess it was removed at some point or did some EX'S not have one

Thanks for the comments and ideas !!!
