ANY BUYING/SELLING IN THIS FORUM WILL RESULT IN AN INSTANT BAN!

Read the rules: http://www.cb7tuner.com/vbb/showthread.php?t=43956

Myself, and the other mods have been very nice and lenient with the rules. We have been deleting threads, and giving out warnings. Some members didn't get the clue and re-posted over and over... Now ANY member buying or selling in this section will be banned... No IF's AND's or BUT's.

Beginner Forum Rules - EVERYBODY read! (old and new members alike!)

Beginners start here. Once you have 30 worthwhile posts (off topic doesn't count) you may post outside of the Beginner forums. Any "whoring" (posting simply to raise your post count) will return your count to 0, or result in a ban.

These are the rules. Read them. Live by them.

1) Absolutely NO flaming! "Flaming" is an outright attack on a member. ALL questions are encouraged to be asked here, no matter how basic. Members with over 30 posts will be subject to a ONE WEEK ban if caught flaming in this forum (and yes, moderators can read deleted posts). Members with under 30 posts will be subject to a ONE DAY ban.

2) Use appropriate language. Racial or sexual slurs will not be tolerated. A ban will be issued at the discretion of the cb7tuner.com staff.

3) No items may be sold in the Beginner forums. Any "for sale" threads will be deleted.

4) Temporarily banned members will be PERMANTLY banned if they are found posting on another account.

The rules can and will be added to. Any updates will be marked in the title.

The rules for the overall forum can be found here:

Read them. You will be expected to follow them.

    Dizzy?

i recently swapped a f22b1 in my 93 cb but its obd2 into an obd1.... so the motor runs in the car but i had a CEL code 9.... and its only runnin on 3 cylinders. it runs ok but wen it gets to opp. temp thats wen it shows that its only on 3 cylinders..... the no.1 is gettin fuel and spark but might misfiring...... i timed it and cleared the code... code is gone but not no.1 still not firing.... ive checked this forum and others and it says it might b in the dizzy....... i have the dizzy for the original motor but it has an internal coil whereas mine has external. my buddy says to buy a new one but i figured just wire in the new one.... i kno how to do it i think but im gonna take pics and post to make sure i have the wires matched up..... but my question would b shuld i just get a new dizzy or try to rewire.... i just wanna do it right the first time

If your car is a 93, it should have an external coil, 90-91's received internal, 92-93's got external coils, unless someone switched it out before you.

What ecu are you using to run the motor?

From which motor's fuel injectors are you using?

i would check the compression on that cylinder it might just be a bent valve, if it gets fuel and spark then thats most likely it, happend to me on my old cb.

I tried to compression test them and got 120 on all of them but i dont think i did it right cuz i did it by myself but ima see if my buddy will help me test it again.... but to b safe i unplug the injectors, pull the plugs, put in the tester and crank the car with the throttle wide open?

yup thats how u do it, but if you can, take the main relay out better.

also when u crank, make sure that u leave it to crank for at least 8 times.

it could be a simpler problem, like spark plugs, spark plug wires, dist. cap, rotor button, bad gas, or poor grounds. later.

true i could be what typeG said, but to your other question, try one fron the junkyard, its alot cheaper than buying a brand new one and that not being the problem.
