ANY BUYING/SELLING IN THIS FORUM WILL RESULT IN AN INSTANT BAN!
Read the rules: http://www.cb7tuner.com/vbb/showthread.php?t=43956
Myself, and the other mods have been very nice and lenient with the rules. We have been deleting threads, and giving out warnings. Some members didn't get the clue and re-posted over and over... Now ANY member buying or selling in this section will be banned... No IF's AND's or BUT's.

Beginner Forum Rules - EVERYBODY read! (old and new members alike!)
Beginners start here. Once you have 30 worthwhile posts (off topic doesn't count) you may post outside of the Beginner forums. Any "whoring" (posting simply to raise your post count) will return your count to 0, or result in a ban.
These are the rules. Read them. Live by them.
1) Absolutely NO flaming! "Flaming" is an outright attack on a member. ALL questions are encouraged to be asked here, no matter how basic. Members with over 30 posts will be subject to a ONE WEEK ban if caught flaming in this forum (and yes, moderators can read deleted posts). Members with under 30 posts will be subject to a ONE DAY ban.
2) Use appropriate language. Racial or sexual slurs will not be tolerated. A ban will be issued at the discretion of the cb7tuner.com staff.
3) No items may be sold in the Beginner forums. Any "for sale" threads will be deleted.
4) Temporarily banned members will be PERMANTLY banned if they are found posting on another account.
The rules can and will be added to. Any updates will be marked in the title.
The rules for the overall forum can be found here:

Read them. You will be expected to follow them.

Most will tell you its a waste of time.I have a full b1 swap in my cb.I can tell ya it runs pretty good better than most I/E f series ive ran up on or rode/drove.Is it a 4 length car puller over the others?NO but decent for how crapy the heads on the b1s flow.Your stock head flows better than the b1.Ive seen/read some F22Ax with the head swap and say it helped maybe 10-15hp idk i dont tend to believe everything i read or hear.Heres my opinion if you cant get the head IM and ecu for under $100bux dont do it.It would be cheaper to save yourself the hassle of hunting down the parts and with a head swap comes New HG,water pump, timing belt,VC gasket set,Pining the ecu and run wires for vtec.Im pretty sure the intake manis are different aswell as a few more odds and ends.Save yourself the trouble, and get either a delta 272 cam or a bisi cam an a few bolt ons would yeld more power gains than the head swap.Dont get me wrong i love my b1, but since mine was in it when i got it im going that route instead of a F22Ax.Last edited by SOHC-FTW; 12-17-2010, 03:39 AM.

It is not going to make your car faster.
sr20det,rb20 etc all these cars are bootsted and non vtec and make great power.

You'll gain no more than 5hp over an F22A6 by doing the head swap, and you'll be installing a head that has less overall flow potential. It will offer no additional benefits for boost. All it will do is increase the number of parts that you mess with. When you're a beginner, remember that each part you touch with your wrench increases the likelihood that it will fail.
