ANY BUYING/SELLING IN THIS FORUM WILL RESULT IN AN INSTANT BAN!

Read the rules: http://www.cb7tuner.com/vbb/showthread.php?t=43956

Myself, and the other mods have been very nice and lenient with the rules. We have been deleting threads, and giving out warnings. Some members didn't get the clue and re-posted over and over... Now ANY member buying or selling in this section will be banned... No IF's AND's or BUT's.

Beginner Forum Rules - EVERYBODY read! (old and new members alike!)

Beginners start here. Once you have 30 worthwhile posts (off topic doesn't count) you may post outside of the Beginner forums. Any "whoring" (posting simply to raise your post count) will return your count to 0, or result in a ban.

These are the rules. Read them. Live by them.

1) Absolutely NO flaming! "Flaming" is an outright attack on a member. ALL questions are encouraged to be asked here, no matter how basic. Members with over 30 posts will be subject to a ONE WEEK ban if caught flaming in this forum (and yes, moderators can read deleted posts). Members with under 30 posts will be subject to a ONE DAY ban.

2) Use appropriate language. Racial or sexual slurs will not be tolerated. A ban will be issued at the discretion of the cb7tuner.com staff.

3) No items may be sold in the Beginner forums. Any "for sale" threads will be deleted.

4) Temporarily banned members will be PERMANTLY banned if they are found posting on another account.

The rules can and will be added to. Any updates will be marked in the title.

The rules for the overall forum can be found here:

Read them. You will be expected to follow them.

Sometimes if you don't have any luck searching, just look around. There is a ton of useful information stickied throughout the forum. This link was in the performance tech section:

Hmm not sure what to tell you on the error. It usually works just fine for me. The reason you get so many results is because the thread will turn up in the if that term was used anywhere in the thread. And seeing as how you were probably searching for the word muffler, I cant even imagine how many threads have that word in it If you want to narrow things down, you can search the forum on google. I have done that quite a few times.

Back on the topic of mufflers - my best advice is just to read through on here and see what people are running, if any of them sound promising, check them out on youtube if you can. And then finally check and see if it fits into your price range. If you want one that doesn't sound like a weed eater, I would probably look into the oval styles (they sound deeper than the round fart cannons). That is all I can really think of at the moment. Happy hunting and welcome to the site!

thanks again! i think im leaning to a DIY custom cat back to a flowmaster.. cheap and sounds decent for the price for now.. then once i get my turbo ill save for a thermal R&D or Apexi..

A muffler is a muffler... you can weld any muffler to your piping.

The best overall exhaust systems are the Apexi WS2, GReddy SP, and RS*R ExMag. They sound great, and offer decent performance.

Megan Rcaing has a M-OE style exhaust. Looks similar to an Apexi WS2....
