ANY BUYING/SELLING IN THIS FORUM WILL RESULT IN AN INSTANT BAN!

Read the rules: http://www.cb7tuner.com/vbb/showthread.php?t=43956

Myself, and the other mods have been very nice and lenient with the rules. We have been deleting threads, and giving out warnings. Some members didn't get the clue and re-posted over and over... Now ANY member buying or selling in this section will be banned... No IF's AND's or BUT's.

Beginner Forum Rules - EVERYBODY read! (old and new members alike!)

Beginners start here. Once you have 30 worthwhile posts (off topic doesn't count) you may post outside of the Beginner forums. Any "whoring" (posting simply to raise your post count) will return your count to 0, or result in a ban.

These are the rules. Read them. Live by them.

1) Absolutely NO flaming! "Flaming" is an outright attack on a member. ALL questions are encouraged to be asked here, no matter how basic. Members with over 30 posts will be subject to a ONE WEEK ban if caught flaming in this forum (and yes, moderators can read deleted posts). Members with under 30 posts will be subject to a ONE DAY ban.

2) Use appropriate language. Racial or sexual slurs will not be tolerated. A ban will be issued at the discretion of the cb7tuner.com staff.

3) No items may be sold in the Beginner forums. Any "for sale" threads will be deleted.

4) Temporarily banned members will be PERMANTLY banned if they are found posting on another account.

The rules can and will be added to. Any updates will be marked in the title.

The rules for the overall forum can be found here:

    Crazy Idle Problems Still

Ok so i posed about a week ago and got no help.
I have a 1994 Honda Prelude Si. It had a H23A1 that i blew up. I bought a H22a4 off a friend out of his car (97 SI VTEC) so he could get blue top. I had to use the top half of my intake for the obd1 sensors and bottom half of a4 for bolt pattern. other than bolt up they are exactly the same. I took out the spacer with butterflys as well. After last post the only results i got were to change the gaskets and this morning i changed the intake gasket, gasket between 2 pieces of intake, and the tb gasket. I also cleaned the FICV under TBody with carb cleaner and it is still doing the 1200-5000 idle rev. does anyone know why it continues to do this?

attached is a link to the youtube video of my gauges. (sorry its upside own, girlfriend videotapped lol)

BTW i have all of the vacume hoses hooked up like the diagram in the haynes repair manual shows them. So i doubt thats the problem. My guess is it is a sensor, but the crazy thing is that my h23 idled at 750-800rpm and purred like a kitten til i spun a bearing than i still drove it home and backed it into garage lol

Long shot guess because I cant remember the idle setup off the top of my head but either the FICV or IACV has a wax pellet fitting on the inside that can loosen and cause those symptoms... IF the FICV has the piece I'm referring to, screw it till it bottoms out.
