ANY BUYING/SELLING IN THIS FORUM WILL RESULT IN AN INSTANT BAN!

Read the rules: http://www.cb7tuner.com/vbb/showthread.php?t=43956

Myself, and the other mods have been very nice and lenient with the rules. We have been deleting threads, and giving out warnings. Some members didn't get the clue and re-posted over and over... Now ANY member buying or selling in this section will be banned... No IF's AND's or BUT's.

Beginner Forum Rules - EVERYBODY read! (old and new members alike!)

Beginners start here. Once you have 30 worthwhile posts (off topic doesn't count) you may post outside of the Beginner forums. Any "whoring" (posting simply to raise your post count) will return your count to 0, or result in a ban.

These are the rules. Read them. Live by them.

1) Absolutely NO flaming! "Flaming" is an outright attack on a member. ALL questions are encouraged to be asked here, no matter how basic. Members with over 30 posts will be subject to a ONE WEEK ban if caught flaming in this forum (and yes, moderators can read deleted posts). Members with under 30 posts will be subject to a ONE DAY ban.

2) Use appropriate language. Racial or sexual slurs will not be tolerated. A ban will be issued at the discretion of the cb7tuner.com staff.

3) No items may be sold in the Beginner forums. Any "for sale" threads will be deleted.

4) Temporarily banned members will be PERMANTLY banned if they are found posting on another account.

The rules can and will be added to. Any updates will be marked in the title.

The rules for the overall forum can be found here:

Car wont start after changing the radiator???

So yesterday I changed out my old radiator that was held together with quick steel from the pev owner. So i started to take everything out and let the antifreeze drain out and had to take off the horse from the lower radiator but i discounted it not from the radiator but from the other end and let the fluid pour down. The fans wont coming out very easy so i cut the wires and when i put the new radiator in i had a issue with those damn tranny cooler lines and i taped up the fan wire back together and left the a/c fan out and started up the car and saw one of the tranny lines just pouring out so i shut off the car and tighten it and tried to start up the car but nothing! I think its either the battery or starter. But when i turn the key no lights or anything but if i come back ten mins later the dome light is on but once i turn the key. It all dies! Help me please on my daily. Thanks

if you have some jumper cables , get you a jump. sounds like you may have a dead batt.also when you get the car running , see if the wires are on correctly ( the fan ) make sure its not staying on and running your batt. down.

your battery terminal might be loose.

make sure it tight down and put some of those anti corrosion gel for battery terminal

make sure to also look at the batt. cables. try to take the wires out of the clamp on the - side. rewire them. check the fuse box inside and under the hood.if thats all good look into a starter. search around the starter for loose wires and the ground wire.good luck and don't worry you will find the problem.

                        Figured it out

The ground wire from the battery was all messed up so i taped them up real fast to see if it was the issue. And sure enough it tried to start.. Im sure i could have gotten it started but it was raining so much i just wanted to get in!
