Myself, and the other mods have been very nice and lenient with the rules. We have been deleting threads, and giving out warnings. Some members didn't get the clue and re-posted over and over... Now ANY member buying or selling in this section will be banned... No IF's AND's or BUT's.

Beginner Forum Rules - EVERYBODY read! (old and new members alike!)

Beginners start here. Once you have 30 worthwhile posts (off topic doesn't count) you may post outside of the Beginner forums. Any "whoring" (posting simply to raise your post count) will return your count to 0, or result in a ban.

These are the rules. Read them. Live by them.

1) Absolutely NO flaming! "Flaming" is an outright attack on a member. ALL questions are encouraged to be asked here, no matter how basic. Members with over 30 posts will be subject to a ONE WEEK ban if caught flaming in this forum (and yes, moderators can read deleted posts). Members with under 30 posts will be subject to a ONE DAY ban.

2) Use appropriate language. Racial or sexual slurs will not be tolerated. A ban will be issued at the discretion of the cb7tuner.com staff.

3) No items may be sold in the Beginner forums. Any "for sale" threads will be deleted.

4) Temporarily banned members will be PERMANTLY banned if they are found posting on another account.

The rules can and will be added to. Any updates will be marked in the title.

    f23 aftermarket rod possibilities

    Saw BC makes a set but will set me back 750.00 and i was just checking if there was another setup to run. Running k20 forged pistons and turboing the car. Looking to push alot out of it after a while (June). All else fails i will get the BC setup but just wanna see my other possibilities. May de stroke the engine if possible so i can rev it higher (atleast 7.2-7.5K). Thanks in advance folks.

    well guess no one knows... what about the f22? I saw Scat which I know someone has a set of for cheap but are they reliable? And what about a piston setup for this too?

      bisi might have a set of f23 rods, im not 100% sure on that though. I know he sells f22 rods. Give him an e mail and he can tell you.

          compare the specs and see if they are compatible. im pretty sure the housing bore is different though.

            i relly want to no if this set up works. i going to look in to it. what about the crank dont u have to change it is u change rods? .... and the ecu?

              yeah, the f23 and f22 rods/pistons are completely different. there is a way I have heard you can destroke the f23 but keep it a 2.3L by putting a h22 crank or something of the sort into the engine, but for the price, I could probably have my whole turbo kit. I decided im gonna just look into boosting my f22b1. Found some scat rods a buddy has for cheap, just looking for some pistons now. anyone have an idea without spending 700.oo?
