ANY BUYING/SELLING IN THIS FORUM WILL RESULT IN AN INSTANT BAN!

Read the rules: http://www.cb7tuner.com/vbb/showthread.php?t=43956

Myself, and the other mods have been very nice and lenient with the rules. We have been deleting threads, and giving out warnings. Some members didn't get the clue and re-posted over and over... Now ANY member buying or selling in this section will be banned... No IF's AND's or BUT's.

Beginner Forum Rules - EVERYBODY read! (old and new members alike!)

Beginners start here. Once you have 30 worthwhile posts (off topic doesn't count) you may post outside of the Beginner forums. Any "whoring" (posting simply to raise your post count) will return your count to 0, or result in a ban.

These are the rules. Read them. Live by them.

1) Absolutely NO flaming! "Flaming" is an outright attack on a member. ALL questions are encouraged to be asked here, no matter how basic. Members with over 30 posts will be subject to a ONE WEEK ban if caught flaming in this forum (and yes, moderators can read deleted posts). Members with under 30 posts will be subject to a ONE DAY ban.

2) Use appropriate language. Racial or sexual slurs will not be tolerated. A ban will be issued at the discretion of the cb7tuner.com staff.

3) No items may be sold in the Beginner forums. Any "for sale" threads will be deleted.

4) Temporarily banned members will be PERMANTLY banned if they are found posting on another account.

The rules can and will be added to. Any updates will be marked in the title.

The rules for the overall forum can be found here:

Read them. You will be expected to follow them.

Gotta pay to play. Buying cheap knockoffs isn't doing the CB7 community any favors. If you don't buy from the oringinal developer, how are they supposed to go about developing new parts for the platform?

            EXACTLY.

Yes, they may be cheaper. Yes, they may work nearly as well (though I would guess quality and fitment might not be quite as good as the real deal...)
But for a little more, you're not only ensuring that you'll get quality, but also supporting one of the few makers of QUALITY CB7 parts. Think of buying from companies that make worthwhile parts for our cars as giving a donation to the scene. Without them, all we'll have left are knockoff parts that are poorly made, and offer little in the way of gains.

Yeah i admit you're right. But i still have the shipping problem with bisi... If only he'd sell his parts on ebay, it would be a lot easier.

That's true... nobody is perfect, sadly.
It's still important to support the companies that make quality products for our cars whenever possible.

Yeah, thats 100% true, Imagine if bisi company wouldn't have existed. Cb7 comunity wouldn've been the same...

But back on topic, is hondata good???

Yes, Hondata's gasket is most likely just as good as Bisi's, and has been around longer.

I've heard a few complaints about the company's products otherwise, but mostly their tuning software (which is their primary product)

I love you guys. Seems like nobody around here understands how important it is to support the ones truely supporting us. The only argument for knockoff parts that has been valid for me was a friend of mine who drifts who said,"Why am I going to spend $3,000 on a set of wheels when they are going to get trashed anyways when I can get rotas for $400 a set?"

With wheels, it makes more sense at least. I do the same... I get cheap wheels, because I drive the piss out of my cars, and ALL my wheels get trashed. I bend steelies!

At least wheels aren't made for specific cars, so someone isn't going to stop making wheels to fit our cars when there are a dozen others with the same lug pattern and offset requirements out there.

But aesthetic or performance parts that are specific to the CB, or to the commonly swapped engines... Once those companies stop making those parts, we're left with nothing but the cheap crap. If we're not buying the good stuff, there is no reason for the companies to keep making them. It takes a good deal of time and R&D to develop a quality part! It's not worth it if there's no market once the part is developed!

E-mail bisi, well, Randy i guess. He will be able to ship to you, ive already been talking to him about pistons and he said that it wouldnt be a problem to ship them to me here in Nova Scotia, so i cant see it being a problem for you. Shoot him an email, he will help you out.
