ANY BUYING/SELLING IN THIS FORUM WILL RESULT IN AN INSTANT BAN!

Read the rules: http://www.cb7tuner.com/vbb/showthread.php?t=43956

Myself, and the other mods have been very nice and lenient with the rules. We have been deleting threads, and giving out warnings. Some members didn't get the clue and re-posted over and over... Now ANY member buying or selling in this section will be banned... No IF's AND's or BUT's.

Beginner Forum Rules - EVERYBODY read! (old and new members alike!)

Beginners start here. Once you have 30 worthwhile posts (off topic doesn't count) you may post outside of the Beginner forums. Any "whoring" (posting simply to raise your post count) will return your count to 0, or result in a ban.

These are the rules. Read them. Live by them.

1) Absolutely NO flaming! "Flaming" is an outright attack on a member. ALL questions are encouraged to be asked here, no matter how basic. Members with over 30 posts will be subject to a ONE WEEK ban if caught flaming in this forum (and yes, moderators can read deleted posts). Members with under 30 posts will be subject to a ONE DAY ban.

2) Use appropriate language. Racial or sexual slurs will not be tolerated. A ban will be issued at the discretion of the cb7tuner.com staff.

3) No items may be sold in the Beginner forums. Any "for sale" threads will be deleted.

4) Temporarily banned members will be PERMANTLY banned if they are found posting on another account.

The rules can and will be added to. Any updates will be marked in the title.

The rules for the overall forum can be found here:

Read them. You will be expected to follow them.

you would have to run it through your car. as if u were runing a subwoofer power wire.. sheilded wire under the carpet. to the back of the car.

It's not worth the effort unless you are going for a full show/tucked engine bay.
To do it right you'll have to get a quality relocation kit. But in the end you are gaining absolutely nothing. If you are doing it for performance/weight distribution, then you are better off just getting a ~10lbs battery.

It can also free up some space in the engine bay if you are going to be adding components to a turbo, supercharger, or something else

Not to the alternator, you need to run it to the starter. Plus the alternator is on the other side of the bay and more than likely you won't have enough wire.

              Here's how I did mine:
              Don't mind the yellow wire.

And here's where I fed it through the firewall. Just under that black canister there.

^it pops into the floorboard by the ecu. Then you run it under the carpet like Tommi said, and back behind the back seat into the trunk. Oh and that grommet there is solid, no hole. I just drilled out a hole big enough for the wire and fed the wire through.

And I just mounted the ground here, basically on the side by where the battery tray was.

Hope that helps. Let me know if you have any questions.

              -Kim

It also needs to have a fuse on it somewhere. Closest to the battery. Also you needs a sealed battery or a battery box that is vented to the outside.

You don't need any of that.

Edit: unless you are doing this for track purposes. Also for track use you would need cut off switches too. And the boxes only apply for wet cell batteries. For dry cell no box is required.

Do you use your AC very much? That hose just to the right of your battery wire that is bent up out of the way is the condensate drain for your AC unit. That black box will fill up and the water will start to stagnate, or worse, leak out onto your carpet and possibly short out your ECU. Just somethign I noticed

Actually it wasn't working until recently. Good thing you said something. I didn't even notice that. Thanks.
