ANY BUYING/SELLING IN THIS FORUM WILL RESULT IN AN INSTANT BAN!

Read the rules: http://www.cb7tuner.com/vbb/showthread.php?t=43956

Myself, and the other mods have been very nice and lenient with the rules. We have been deleting threads, and giving out warnings. Some members didn't get the clue and re-posted over and over... Now ANY member buying or selling in this section will be banned... No IF's AND's or BUT's.

Beginner Forum Rules - EVERYBODY read! (old and new members alike!)

Beginners start here. Once you have 30 worthwhile posts (off topic doesn't count) you may post outside of the Beginner forums. Any "whoring" (posting simply to raise your post count) will return your count to 0, or result in a ban.

These are the rules. Read them. Live by them.

1) Absolutely NO flaming! "Flaming" is an outright attack on a member. ALL questions are encouraged to be asked here, no matter how basic. Members with over 30 posts will be subject to a ONE WEEK ban if caught flaming in this forum (and yes, moderators can read deleted posts). Members with under 30 posts will be subject to a ONE DAY ban.

2) Use appropriate language. Racial or sexual slurs will not be tolerated. A ban will be issued at the discretion of the cb7tuner.com staff.

3) No items may be sold in the Beginner forums. Any "for sale" threads will be deleted.

4) Temporarily banned members will be PERMANTLY banned if they are found posting on another account.

The rules can and will be added to. Any updates will be marked in the title.

The rules for the overall forum can be found here:

Read them. You will be expected to follow them.

    Used Nuespeed springs

So their is a guy local to me selling some Nuespeed spring for the cb, the guy is asking $70 for them, I asked for some info on them and he just told me they were yellow Nuespeed drop is 2.5 and used obviously. Is this a good deal? I know I've heard Deev say he would rather buy used good suspension parts than new cheap crap, just need some input if I should buy these I was going to get the cup kit but I don't have the $700 right now. Thanks

You're still going to need to shell out the cash for some good shocks... but yes, I'd say $70 is good for used Neuspeed (I assume race... but I don't recall them being yellow... I might be thinking H&R, which are red...)

Make sure they aren't damaged or rusted. If they're good, grab em. Definitely better than anything else you'll find for that price.

That, or save your milk money and buy a good setup when you can afford it.

Speak of the devil lol thanks for the response, well I just talked to the guy and he told me that he ha them for 500 miles and purchased coilovers and thas why he is selling them I haven't seen them and I am waiting on a pic, what can I look at to make sure they are in good condition and if they are legit. I was planing to pair them up with koni reds or street not sure what the correct name was. I don't know if I want the adjustable konis. It's not my daily driver but would I really need to adjust them?

Don't bother with reds. STR.T (street) are the basic, non-adjustable model... but a good choice if you're on a budget. The Yellows are the best you can get (and the Neuspeed version would be best for those springs.) Reds are basically the same as the Yellows only they aren't externally adjustable. They have to come off and apart to adjust. Crap. (I mean, quality... but not worth the effort!)
