ANY BUYING/SELLING IN THIS FORUM WILL RESULT IN AN INSTANT BAN!

Read the rules: http://www.cb7tuner.com/vbb/showthread.php?t=43956

Myself, and the other mods have been very nice and lenient with the rules. We have been deleting threads, and giving out warnings. Some members didn't get the clue and re-posted over and over... Now ANY member buying or selling in this section will be banned... No IF's AND's or BUT's.

Beginner Forum Rules - EVERYBODY read! (old and new members alike!)

Beginners start here. Once you have 30 worthwhile posts (off topic doesn't count) you may post outside of the Beginner forums. Any "whoring" (posting simply to raise your post count) will return your count to 0, or result in a ban.

These are the rules. Read them. Live by them.

1) Absolutely NO flaming! "Flaming" is an outright attack on a member. ALL questions are encouraged to be asked here, no matter how basic. Members with over 30 posts will be subject to a ONE WEEK ban if caught flaming in this forum (and yes, moderators can read deleted posts). Members with under 30 posts will be subject to a ONE DAY ban.

2) Use appropriate language. Racial or sexual slurs will not be tolerated. A ban will be issued at the discretion of the cb7tuner.com staff.

3) No items may be sold in the Beginner forums. Any "for sale" threads will be deleted.

4) Temporarily banned members will be PERMANTLY banned if they are found posting on another account.

The rules can and will be added to. Any updates will be marked in the title.

The rules for the overall forum can be found here:
http://www.cb7tuner.com/vbb/forumdisplay.php?f=144
Read them. You will be expected to follow them.

Your link. It has a chart that has stock and ported flow measured. Courtesy of hondafan's thread.
    Thank you.

the f22 is definitley the way to go, i made 176whp and 155wtq in 100+deg weather with high humidity. now i found out that was with a bad intake manifold gasket and a pinch in my downpipe on my bisi header. we are thinking 190whp on a good day with the stuff fixed. dropping the temp down to the high 70's with 8% humidity yeilded 185whp and thats with the problems still. i wish i could find my digital sheet to upload. the whole build can be done for less than 4k. here's the one in 100+deg weather.

I love my H23. It's like an f22 but you already have the big intake mani and an extra cam. Plus alittle extra compression never hurts.

most of the h23's power is in the cams and the intake manifold. if you're going to change camshafts anyways then the h23 starts falling short and you can just swap the intake manifolds and sell the h23 to buy your cam and valvetrain. big plus of the f22 is the non-frm sleeves, so pistons are easier to get. your build can be done cheap. it just depends on what you want. if you want a reliable dd pm me and i'll hook you up.

I did race one from about 50mph and had about 4 cars on him at about 120mph. I got barely walked by jose's H23VTEC.
              3 CB's gone....

Still miss the CB though......maybe one day.

well, i was going to use h23 pistons, rods and crank in a bored f22 block, with a f22 head, (P&P, plained, bisi or delta cam) h23 IM+TB. If i did that then all i would have to do is get my block bored, head plained and buy my cam, because i already have everything else.

let me know what you do with a custom headgasket because i was going to have one made until Cometic lost my package so i have to send them another headgasket so they can make it.

mine was going to be 87mm bore, roughly .080 thick. the piston is going to stick up out of the block because of the compression height.

i thought the pistons were the same as f22 pistons, just bigger bore.

i thought they were closer to h22? but you may be right since they have the same length rod while h22's have a longer rod. only thing is less compression...im running a stock domed h22. so my compression should be up there, lol.
