ANY BUYING/SELLING IN THIS FORUM WILL RESULT IN AN INSTANT BAN!

Read the rules: http://www.cb7tuner.com/vbb/showthread.php?t=43956

Myself, and the other mods have been very nice and lenient with the rules. We have been deleting threads, and giving out warnings. Some members didn't get the clue and re-posted over and over... Now ANY member buying or selling in this section will be banned... No IF's AND's or BUT's.

Beginner Forum Rules - EVERYBODY read! (old and new members alike!)

Beginners start here. Once you have 30 worthwhile posts (off topic doesn't count) you may post outside of the Beginner forums. Any "whoring" (posting simply to raise your post count) will return your count to 0, or result in a ban.

These are the rules. Read them. Live by them.

1) Absolutely NO flaming! "Flaming" is an outright attack on a member. ALL questions are encouraged to be asked here, no matter how basic. Members with over 30 posts will be subject to a ONE WEEK ban if caught flaming in this forum (and yes, moderators can read deleted posts). Members with under 30 posts will be subject to a ONE DAY ban.

2) Use appropriate language. Racial or sexual slurs will not be tolerated. A ban will be issued at the discretion of the cb7tuner.com staff.

3) No items may be sold in the Beginner forums. Any "for sale" threads will be deleted.

4) Temporarily banned members will be PERMANTLY banned if they are found posting on another account.

The rules can and will be added to. Any updates will be marked in the title.

The rules for the overall forum can be found here:

Read them. You will be expected to follow them.

    2.25 or 2.5?

What would be better performance a 2.25 or 2/5 full exhaust for a stock F22a1?

Ive seen a few Magnaflow Exhausts on Accords and i was wondering what you guys think of that.

honestly, since you have a bone stock f engine you wont feel any Hp difference unless you start building the bottom end and/or the head as well, you can try the f22a6(92/93 ex or 91 se) or the a4(90-91 ex) and give that a try.The only thing different from a 2.25 and a 2.5 is the size and possibly the loud exhaust noise aka fart can.You may consider swapping the cam out of the a4/a6 if you really want to feel any difference at all.Just keep searching.Good luck bro.

I have the Megan Racing 2.5 catback and yeah the muffler makes it kinda loud below like 3000-3300 rpm but once your above that it seems like its quieted down then all you really hear is the intake. I also did a header swap as well from Megan Racing.

I'm pretty sure i have 2 and a quarter inch piping with a Megan Racing header, OE bolt on cat along with a WS2 and it's pretty quiet( when i took it for a test drive). I can hear my short ram intake over my exhaust.

I plan to put in a bisimoto camshaft and gear, but right now im just going to start with Intake, Header, and Exhaust. Then Suspension and then some serious performance parts. So pretty much im just trying to decide for power should i get a 2.25 or a 2.5 Kteller Exhaust? Also a 22" Resonator. I feel like a 2.5 is too big but when i get other parts like fuel ignition stuff like that i will need a larger diameter exhaust.. So maybe 2.5 will be alright.

id do 2.5" with a few resonators and a chambered muffler. plenty of flow, and not a huge amount of noise

I would go with 2.5" as in the future that would be better if you intend on more mods. I have 2.25" but I really want 2.5" with the mods I have planned.

If you are only going to do a header and intake then 2.25" will be fine...but if you DO plan to do some head work, aggressive cam, new ecu tune...etc...then 2.5" would be better.
