Myself, and the other mods have been very nice and lenient with the rules. We have been deleting threads, and giving out warnings. Some members didn't get the clue and re-posted over and over... Now ANY member buying or selling in this section will be banned... No IF's AND's or BUT's.

Beginner Forum Rules - EVERYBODY read! (old and new members alike!)

Beginners start here. Once you have 30 worthwhile posts (off topic doesn't count) you may post outside of the Beginner forums. Any "whoring" (posting simply to raise your post count) will return your count to 0, or result in a ban.

These are the rules. Read them. Live by them.

1) Absolutely NO flaming! "Flaming" is an outright attack on a member. ALL questions are encouraged to be asked here, no matter how basic. Members with over 30 posts will be subject to a ONE WEEK ban if caught flaming in this forum (and yes, moderators can read deleted posts). Members with under 30 posts will be subject to a ONE DAY ban.

2) Use appropriate language. Racial or sexual slurs will not be tolerated. A ban will be issued at the discretion of the cb7tuner.com staff.

3) No items may be sold in the Beginner forums. Any "for sale" threads will be deleted.

4) Temporarily banned members will be PERMANTLY banned if they are found posting on another account.

The rules can and will be added to. Any updates will be marked in the title.

    car says its running hot.

    alright guys my car is showin on the temp guage that it is running hot but i let it warm up and i touch the motor. not so hot. and i check the temperture of the water in the radiator and its normal. but then i feel on the coolant hoses and the one that is up top of the radiator is kinda hot. but the one that goes to the back of the motor is cold and it feels like there aint water going threw it. and i have already replaced the thermastat. what do you think i should do.

    maybe the coolant temp. gauge sending unit mounted near coolant outlet housing, on cylinder head

      yea right next to the coolant temp sensror, rewire a new one if it's damaged (female end), or just clean it out. it might be full of grease and dirt and junk.

        You may have a clogged radiator.

          you might have a defective tstat use a factory honda tstat and make shure to open the bleeder screw when filling the coolant , it can also be a plugged radiator or the impellers have rusted off the water pump......

            could yall show me a pic of the coolant temp sensor and the other one that you guys were talkin bout

              you could also have an air bubble in the system

                x2 thats the first thing I thought of.... Air bubble, faulty t-stat, temp sensor got messed up some how. Those are your 3 main one to look into. If you haven't flushed out your radiator ever it may be a possibility as well. not as likely as the others.
