Myself, and the other mods have been very nice and lenient with the rules. We have been deleting threads, and giving out warnings. Some members didn't get the clue and re-posted over and over... Now ANY member buying or selling in this section will be banned... No IF's AND's or BUT's.

Beginner Forum Rules - EVERYBODY read! (old and new members alike!)

Beginners start here. Once you have 30 worthwhile posts (off topic doesn't count) you may post outside of the Beginner forums. Any "whoring" (posting simply to raise your post count) will return your count to 0, or result in a ban.

These are the rules. Read them. Live by them.

1) Absolutely NO flaming! "Flaming" is an outright attack on a member. ALL questions are encouraged to be asked here, no matter how basic. Members with over 30 posts will be subject to a ONE WEEK ban if caught flaming in this forum (and yes, moderators can read deleted posts). Members with under 30 posts will be subject to a ONE DAY ban.

2) Use appropriate language. Racial or sexual slurs will not be tolerated. A ban will be issued at the discretion of the cb7tuner.com staff.

3) No items may be sold in the Beginner forums. Any "for sale" threads will be deleted.

4) Temporarily banned members will be PERMANTLY banned if they are found posting on another account.

The rules can and will be added to. Any updates will be marked in the title.

    accord proportioning valve issues....

    I acquired a proportioning valve from a 92 accord for free from a friend and was wondering if you could use this in the rear disc brake swap on my 91 accord EX sedan instead of going after a proportioning valve off a 90-93 integra non-abs? Any help will be appreciated...

    If it was off a disc brake model, then yes it will be fine to use.
    Most people only swap to the Teg valve to balance the braking better between front and back.

      Yeah i did get it off an accord 4 dr with all 4 disc brakes, i was just worried i would have to get one off the integra since lots of people tend to go after the integra proportional valve...Whats the difference between using the proportioning valve off an accord 4 disc brake setup as opposed to one off the integra?

        Isn't the proportioner off a 92 EX for an ABS equipped car? If so, those are different from non ABS equipped cars. I grabbed mine from an Integra because it's a 40/40 meant for a non ABS car with rear disc brakes.

          I am having a similar problem with my rear disks they are working gbut barely wut is the best prop valve to use?

            Are all accords heavly biased to the front brakes? My 90 dx drum brakes and 93 ex with disks both lock the fronts up long before the rears on gravel. Drove my nieces 91 civic and its the same way?

              best prop valve to use with rear disc is hands down 40/40 from the 90-93 integra.

                It's alot better to lock the fronts than it is the rears.
                The Cb chassis has a habit of "letting the rear go" once it loses traction.
                And personally I'd rather control the front lockup with "Brake On/Off" applications, rather than try to control a rear end that keeps coming round.

                  Why cant a accord prop valve be used, regardless of abs or not, that shouldnt effect the prop valve.
