ANY BUYING/SELLING IN THIS FORUM WILL RESULT IN AN INSTANT BAN!

Read the rules: http://www.cb7tuner.com/vbb/showthread.php?t=43956

Myself, and the other mods have been very nice and lenient with the rules. We have been deleting threads, and giving out warnings. Some members didn't get the clue and re-posted over and over... Now ANY member buying or selling in this section will be banned... No IF's AND's or BUT's.

Beginner Forum Rules - EVERYBODY read! (old and new members alike!)

Beginners start here. Once you have 30 worthwhile posts (off topic doesn't count) you may post outside of the Beginner forums. Any "whoring" (posting simply to raise your post count) will return your count to 0, or result in a ban.

These are the rules. Read them. Live by them.

1) Absolutely NO flaming! "Flaming" is an outright attack on a member. ALL questions are encouraged to be asked here, no matter how basic. Members with over 30 posts will be subject to a ONE WEEK ban if caught flaming in this forum (and yes, moderators can read deleted posts). Members with under 30 posts will be subject to a ONE DAY ban.

2) Use appropriate language. Racial or sexual slurs will not be tolerated. A ban will be issued at the discretion of the cb7tuner.com staff.

3) No items may be sold in the Beginner forums. Any "for sale" threads will be deleted.

4) Temporarily banned members will be PERMANTLY banned if they are found posting on another account.

The rules can and will be added to. Any updates will be marked in the title.

    radiator fan help.

alright i found out my car has been heating up when its hot and i drive for a while whenever i sit and idle for a while like at a redlight. the radiator fan is not hooked up and all the wires are cut.
so does any one know a way that i could hook up the fan to the ignition or something so that as soon as the car comes on the fan turns on???? please help

just hook up a toggle switch if you want a simple fix. Make sure you put a fuse inline with it. It's always best to use a relay like DEI 8617 so that your switch itself isn't handling all the current. I've seen direct wired switches melt before, relays will ensure that doesn't happen.

I know that there is a way that you can put a switcha dnt thanks for that feedback man. But does anyone know a way I could just hook a wire to the ignition. Cause I'm short on money. So the switch and relay and fuse thing is out of the question.

thats the cheapest its gonna get, ive done this with my headlights and radiator fan, all running off my radio power wire, lol. after two melt downs i pulled out that old issue of Turbo where they wired up a fuel pump with a relay...the relay saves you from having to wire up all your shit a second time after it melts.

Why don't you just repair the wires? Just buy some wire and some crimp connectors or solder them together and cover with electical tape. That's your best and cheapest route.

Yeah...Just go to autozone and buy sum wire...It will cost you lik $5-$6...And twist the new wire with the hot wire...And run the hot wire from your fan to your ignition...And you will be good...I did dat...But I ran my ac fan to my radiator fan and to tha ignition because my radiator fan went out...And I had to run lik dat for a week...N I dnt recommend using the ac fan as your radiator fan like I did...

Wait before you do all of that...Check your fuses...The radiator fan is a 15A...Check that and if its blow replace it and you should be good...And if that don't work let me know and I'll post a picture of where its located for u bro...
