Myself, and the other mods have been very nice and lenient with the rules. We have been deleting threads, and giving out warnings. Some members didn't get the clue and re-posted over and over... Now ANY member buying or selling in this section will be banned... No IF's AND's or BUT's.

Beginner Forum Rules - EVERYBODY read! (old and new members alike!)

Beginners start here. Once you have 30 worthwhile posts (off topic doesn't count) you may post outside of the Beginner forums. Any "whoring" (posting simply to raise your post count) will return your count to 0, or result in a ban.

These are the rules. Read them. Live by them.

1) Absolutely NO flaming! "Flaming" is an outright attack on a member. ALL questions are encouraged to be asked here, no matter how basic. Members with over 30 posts will be subject to a ONE WEEK ban if caught flaming in this forum (and yes, moderators can read deleted posts). Members with under 30 posts will be subject to a ONE DAY ban.

2) Use appropriate language. Racial or sexual slurs will not be tolerated. A ban will be issued at the discretion of the cb7tuner.com staff.

3) No items may be sold in the Beginner forums. Any "for sale" threads will be deleted.

4) Temporarily banned members will be PERMANTLY banned if they are found posting on another account.

The rules can and will be added to. Any updates will be marked in the title.

    Okay, everyone here knows the f22 tranny is a straight up dog! But I don't really want the h22 tranny because it's really short. I hear the h23 is in between but I don't know which h23 tranny ha. Anyway what would be something that wouldn't be such a dog with my bolt on f22 and will still be good to let my turbo spool when that setup is said and done?

    For turbo... that "dog" of an F22 transmission is your best bet. Longer gears keep you in boost. Shorter gears require an additional shift, and will actually make you slower in the long run.

    Search Google for gear ratios. It's out there. I just found many common ratios for someone else in another thread. I'd search again, but it was so easy to find that I know you won't have a problem finding it yourself.

      thanks, also this may not be the place. but my car doesn't like to go into 2nd when the rpms are high. but its fine at a stand still or if i'm not getting on it. it was fine just the other day. i tried searching but tend to have trouble with search not wanting to load.

        ther is a thread some were uner the swap area i have seen it be for with gear ratios of all the trannys that bolt to the f/h s i see if i can find it

          sounds like synchros to me...... what transmission fluid are you using?
