is there even any hope for my 1993 accord? all stalk, loose trans, only pulls 90 and overall appearance is not so great. where should i start? My fan is broke, ac is not cold and blows too soft, door handles are broke, i think my tint is jamming the windows and is not allowing them to roll up all the way. i have a check engine light on all the time, and the maintenance required box is red and always on, but it runs good but not perfect, what would be the best product or part to start with. i want this to be a beast with an ls1 engine hopefully convert it to rear wheel drive so i can drift eventually, anyone think its possible to drift cb7s?

ANY BUYING/SELLING IN THIS FORUM WILL RESULT IN AN INSTANT BAN!
Read the rules: http://www.cb7tuner.com/vbb/showthread.php?t=43956
Myself, and the other mods have been very nice and lenient with the rules. We have been deleting threads, and giving out warnings. Some members didn't get the clue and re-posted over and over... Now ANY member buying or selling in this section will be banned... No IF's AND's or BUT's.

Beginner Forum Rules - EVERYBODY read! (old and new members alike!)
Beginners start here. Once you have 30 worthwhile posts (off topic doesn't count) you may post outside of the Beginner forums. Any "whoring" (posting simply to raise your post count) will return your count to 0, or result in a ban.
These are the rules. Read them. Live by them.
1) Absolutely NO flaming! "Flaming" is an outright attack on a member. ALL questions are encouraged to be asked here, no matter how basic. Members with over 30 posts will be subject to a ONE WEEK ban if caught flaming in this forum (and yes, moderators can read deleted posts). Members with under 30 posts will be subject to a ONE DAY ban.
2) Use appropriate language. Racial or sexual slurs will not be tolerated. A ban will be issued at the discretion of the cb7tuner.com staff.
3) No items may be sold in the Beginner forums. Any "for sale" threads will be deleted.
4) Temporarily banned members will be PERMANTLY banned if they are found posting on another account.
The rules can and will be added to. Any updates will be marked in the title.
The rules for the overall forum can be found here:

wow...dude.
My car has over 228,000 miles...prolly only has 90-100 hp, NO a/c, dents all over, messed up hood. But the engine is still running strong. 200k is middle age for these cars if taken care of.
I do ALL my own fluid changes and work so I KNOW she is in good shape...eh...engine wise that is.
As for rwd...it is not worth it. Buy a rwd car instead. You need to learn some more about cars in general first though...a LOT more. No offense meant, just what I observe____

Before you do anything else do a search and find out why your engine light is on. Then change your oil and filter.
You can remove the tint with windex and a plastic garbage bag.
You can get new door handles (interior i assume you mean) on tasauto.com.
The "maintenence required" box turns red after a certain number of miles, you can reset it by putting your car key in the slot in the gauge cluster next to the red box.
And as for appearance, what do you mean by "not so great"? We talking huge dents all over it, rust, or just dull paint? You would be amazed what a good detail job can do.
I suggest you look through some of the members rides threads on here and get a general idea of the potential of these cars. Start with threads marked with four or five stars.
And if you want rwd and a chevy V8 get an old Camaro.

I recommend just selling or trading in your CB7 instead of converting it into a RWD. Even if you convert it successfully it would not be any where near a 240sx , ae86 or any other drift car. Those cars are popular for a reason, cheap , can be used as track cars or commuters and you dont have to do much to them. With a 240sx you get a decently runing engine and do some minor mods with suspension and you are good to go.

I agree that a drifting CB7 will definitely get you in a magazine (if your car is clean to match). I am not so sure however that it is worth it. I've only seen 1 RWD converted Honda and that was a EG, and on top of it all, its not used for drifting. Get your engine maintenance done first and get it tuned. Then start cleaning up the outside of the car, removing the rust/dings, fresh paint job if you can afford it. Then you will love your car and feel the want to mod it.
My 92 Cb7 sedan has near 250k and its got quite a few dings and the transmission broke at around 245k. I thought it was the worst car, except for the fact that it was green, a different color from everybody else. Then I found this site and was inspired so much that I wouldn't trade my dented car for a brand spanking new Acura any day. All it took was a real thorough cleaning of the car, cost me maybe $.50 for the water and soap that I used. lol Now I'm on this site all the time wondering what I could do to make me love the car even more. :]
