First of all im very confused about which engine is "better." Can someone distinguish between these motors: f22a1, f22a4 and f22a6? as in which is better and which is worse and what ecu is required for each one... im asking because my current setup is a f22a6 with a pt3 ecu. i have a p12 but after reading some forums i have realized it wouldnt do anything for my a6 because of my intake manifold. Is my f22a6 suppose to have a pt3 ecu? i currently have a f23 intake manifold, f22a1 head and aftermarket headers being ported and polished... once i install this setup should i then use the p12 and the cam from my A6 head? and my last question is what is a double stack? apologize for all these questions just couldnt find the right information thru a search... thanks in advance.

Beginner Forum Rules - EVERYBODY read! (old and new members alike!)
Beginners start here. Once you have 30 worthwhile posts (off topic doesn't count) you may post outside of the Beginner forums. Any "whoring" (posting simply to raise your post count) will return your count to 0, or result in a ban.
These are the rules. Read them. Live by them.
1) Absolutely NO flaming! "Flaming" is an outright attack on a member. ALL questions are encouraged to be asked here, no matter how basic. Members with over 30 posts will be subject to a ONE WEEK ban if caught flaming in this forum (and yes, moderators can read deleted posts). Members with under 30 posts will be subject to a ONE DAY ban.
2) Use appropriate language. Racial or sexual slurs will not be tolerated. A ban will be issued at the discretion of the cb7tuner.com staff.
3) No items may be sold in the Beginner forums. Any "for sale" threads will be deleted.
4) Temporarily banned members will be PERMANTLY banned if they are found posting on another account.
The rules can and will be added to. Any updates will be marked in the title.
The rules for the overall forum can be found here:

The F22A6 makes the most power, but you need the coresponding PT6 ECU to run it properly.
The F23 intake manifold won't fit. It's useless.
Any aftermarket header (only one, it's an inline 4) is pretty much useless unless it comes from Bisimoto. Anything else offers very little over stock.
The F22A heads are all identical. The camshaft and valve springs are all that differentiate the F22A6 from the F22A1 and F22A4.
The "double stack" refers to the usage of a second IAB plate, or better yet, a plenum spacer from Blacktrax, between your intake manifold's plenum and runners. This works for the F22A6 manifold, and the H23A1 manifold (which can be used on the F22A)

ur header is at bisimoto.com...and the pt6 ecu is located in the 92-93 accord ex/se models and the 90-91 se model as well.
