ANY BUYING/SELLING IN THIS FORUM WILL RESULT IN AN INSTANT BAN!

Read the rules: http://www.cb7tuner.com/vbb/showthread.php?t=43956

Myself, and the other mods have been very nice and lenient with the rules. We have been deleting threads, and giving out warnings. Some members didn't get the clue and re-posted over and over... Now ANY member buying or selling in this section will be banned... No IF's AND's or BUT's.

Beginner Forum Rules - EVERYBODY read! (old and new members alike!)

Beginners start here. Once you have 30 worthwhile posts (off topic doesn't count) you may post outside of the Beginner forums. Any "whoring" (posting simply to raise your post count) will return your count to 0, or result in a ban.

These are the rules. Read them. Live by them.

1) Absolutely NO flaming! "Flaming" is an outright attack on a member. ALL questions are encouraged to be asked here, no matter how basic. Members with over 30 posts will be subject to a ONE WEEK ban if caught flaming in this forum (and yes, moderators can read deleted posts). Members with under 30 posts will be subject to a ONE DAY ban.

2) Use appropriate language. Racial or sexual slurs will not be tolerated. A ban will be issued at the discretion of the cb7tuner.com staff.

3) No items may be sold in the Beginner forums. Any "for sale" threads will be deleted.

4) Temporarily banned members will be PERMANTLY banned if they are found posting on another account.

The rules can and will be added to. Any updates will be marked in the title.

The rules for the overall forum can be found here:

    F20b questions

I am an old member on here and its been a while since i got on and forgot all my old info so I'm starting from scratch. Right now I have a 97 accord coupe with H22A with LSD trans. A guy I have recently met buying S2k parts for my other money pit has offered to trade me his F20b for my H22. I'm loving this idea but he took the head off the motor to look over it. Now i'm looking for specs on the F20b and where to find head gasket and such. I have done a little searching but gave up with no luck. So if anyone knows where i can find a head gasket hook it up. Also I am in a mission to run ITBs. With that being said, does anybody know if the stock valve train can hold up to skunk2 pro2 cams?

I would not trust the stock valvetrain with those cams. Springs may bind, or valves may float. If a piston hits a valve, it's over.

The F20B is a JDM engine, so you're going to need to get the parts from Japan. It was never sold in this country, so we don't have parts for it. The H22A has far more available for it.

Also, the F20B (assuming you mean the DOHC VTEC variety, as there is a SOHC variety as well...) comes in 2 flavors... a 200hp manual version, and a 180hp automatic version. If this guy is anxious to swap, he may very well have the automatic version.

Personally, I wouldn't trade. The H22 has the same potential with a greater availabity of parts.

thanks for the info. This dude is cool and its for sure a manual version. I know i can't get the gaskets from US Honda but I just wondered if anyone knows where I can get a start for ordering them (for a decent price). I used to work at cometic so I have some "home boys" on the inside and one is trying to figure out if he can get me one made. I have figured the H22A4 with work if it was 85mm bore so at this point he is trying to get me a "modified" a4 gasket. My plan is to compete with all my friends here running all their turbo shit with an all motor honda, and so far my research is sending me in the F20B direction unless i can swap my H22A for a H22A4.
