ANY BUYING/SELLING IN THIS FORUM WILL RESULT IN AN INSTANT BAN!

Read the rules: http://www.cb7tuner.com/vbb/showthread.php?t=43956

Myself, and the other mods have been very nice and lenient with the rules. We have been deleting threads, and giving out warnings. Some members didn't get the clue and re-posted over and over... Now ANY member buying or selling in this section will be banned... No IF's AND's or BUT's.

Beginner Forum Rules - EVERYBODY read! (old and new members alike!)

Beginners start here. Once you have 30 worthwhile posts (off topic doesn't count) you may post outside of the Beginner forums. Any "whoring" (posting simply to raise your post count) will return your count to 0, or result in a ban.

These are the rules. Read them. Live by them.

1) Absolutely NO flaming! "Flaming" is an outright attack on a member. ALL questions are encouraged to be asked here, no matter how basic. Members with over 30 posts will be subject to a ONE WEEK ban if caught flaming in this forum (and yes, moderators can read deleted posts). Members with under 30 posts will be subject to a ONE DAY ban.

2) Use appropriate language. Racial or sexual slurs will not be tolerated. A ban will be issued at the discretion of the cb7tuner.com staff.

3) No items may be sold in the Beginner forums. Any "for sale" threads will be deleted.

4) Temporarily banned members will be PERMANTLY banned if they are found posting on another account.

The rules can and will be added to. Any updates will be marked in the title.

The rules for the overall forum can be found here:

Read them. You will be expected to follow them.

    EF upper arm

    Hi,

I would like to know if u can ajust your camber at "0" if u use some EF civic upper arm Skunk2 ajustable?

    Thanks

You can adjust your camber to 0 degrees with a kit designed to be used with a CB. Why take the risk using parts from another car? If your suepension fails, it will most likely happen under stress... which means when you are going fast, and pushing your car hard. That means you will crash. Use quality parts, designed for your car.

        Yes you can use it.

Are you lowered and on a really low offset?

If not then don't bother with it, the members that do it have a low off wheel and are lowered about 4in or so, that is because using and ef upper arm gives a more neg offset to fit the low offset wheel and prevent banging the upper arm in the well.

If you don't have either or,then please don't get the upper arms, setting the camber at 0 won't work with ef upper arm since they are shorter then CB upper control arms.

he was talking about using the skunk2 adjustable arms, which go about 3" either way on a civic, but from what i've seen in the time i've been looking into it, they can go pretty close to 0 degrees on an an accord. this would be a viable option for people with the all-prelude 5-lug swap since the prelude knuckles shift it to positive camber when at stock ride height.

to the OP, you wont get the full -3 to 3 degrees of adjustment, but you do get some adjustment to play with.
