ANY BUYING/SELLING IN THIS FORUM WILL RESULT IN AN INSTANT BAN!

Read the rules: http://www.cb7tuner.com/vbb/showthread.php?t=43956

Myself, and the other mods have been very nice and lenient with the rules. We have been deleting threads, and giving out warnings. Some members didn't get the clue and re-posted over and over... Now ANY member buying or selling in this section will be banned... No IF's AND's or BUT's.

Beginner Forum Rules - EVERYBODY read! (old and new members alike!)

Beginners start here. Once you have 30 worthwhile posts (off topic doesn't count) you may post outside of the Beginner forums. Any "whoring" (posting simply to raise your post count) will return your count to 0, or result in a ban.

These are the rules. Read them. Live by them.

1) Absolutely NO flaming! "Flaming" is an outright attack on a member. ALL questions are encouraged to be asked here, no matter how basic. Members with over 30 posts will be subject to a ONE WEEK ban if caught flaming in this forum (and yes, moderators can read deleted posts). Members with under 30 posts will be subject to a ONE DAY ban.

2) Use appropriate language. Racial or sexual slurs will not be tolerated. A ban will be issued at the discretion of the cb7tuner.com staff.

3) No items may be sold in the Beginner forums. Any "for sale" threads will be deleted.

4) Temporarily banned members will be PERMANTLY banned if they are found posting on another account.

The rules can and will be added to. Any updates will be marked in the title.

The rules for the overall forum can be found here:

thats what i was thinking. so the p28 can be fully programable like standalone with the hondata or chrome

those are chipped, not a stand alone. for hondas, id personally wouldnt deviate away from the original ecu.

A chipped ECU is more than enough for a mild boost project. You don't need some $4000 engine management system for anything shy of a professional full race build.

And why are you running a P14? That's made for the H23. Not even VTEC... If your H22 was running poorly with the P13, it's not the ECU's fault. There's something wrong with your engine. Running the wrong ECU in that case could be doing additional damage.

the car runs like shit with the p13, runs good with the p14. with the p13 i cant really drive the car anywhere after it warms up. i wasnt planning on spending 4000 on any ems, the AEM was the most i would spend and its only 1100. the engine only has 70k on it. i cant figure out anything else that is wrong with the engine

and the reason i think my p13 is messed up is because my ground wires went bad and it fried the igniter and coil, so i figured it could have caused some damage to the ecu. and im not running mild boost. im going forged internals and 15-20lbs

after it warms up, it goes into closed loop. ect, o2, map sensor are all used in closed loop.

yea i know that, the p14 is throwing no codes and my o2 is a brand new ntk. i guess i throw the p13 back in and see if any codes come up so i can give some better info. im trying to get a hold of crzytuning and get some advise from him. i might drive over yakima or if im lucky get him to drive over here to help me out

15-20 is mild. A chipped ECU running Crome will suit you just fine. For now, I'd suggest replacing that P13 before you end up with serious damage.

Jose will most likely tell you exactly the same thing.

actually he didnt, he told me it wont have vtec and just run rich. hes gonna chip a p28 for me and help me out with the electronics. he was sad to here about my neon lol. but new info. my dizzy was max advanced so i decided to put it in the center and see how it runs. it ran way worse. so i adavanced it all the way again and it acts like it wants more. i think that could be my issue is the the dizzy off a little on the actual shaft so its not centered like its suppose to be. im gonna check all the timing this weekend

I meant he would agree about the chipped ECU. As for running rich, he knows as well as anyone the damage that can do. Hopefully you'll be going to a P28 soon, before any damage is done.

yea i think im gonna have him send me a p28. my cars problem may not be the ecu but it wont hurt to have a p28 anyway lol. all the money im making off my neon is going into the cb7 and ive made about 2 grand in the last two days. i think im also gonna do a rotor over hub/big brake conversion
