ANY BUYING/SELLING IN THIS FORUM WILL RESULT IN AN INSTANT BAN!

Read the rules: http://www.cb7tuner.com/vbb/showthread.php?t=43956

Myself, and the other mods have been very nice and lenient with the rules. We have been deleting threads, and giving out warnings. Some members didn't get the clue and re-posted over and over... Now ANY member buying or selling in this section will be banned... No IF's AND's or BUT's.

Beginner Forum Rules - EVERYBODY read! (old and new members alike!)

Beginners start here. Once you have 30 worthwhile posts (off topic doesn't count) you may post outside of the Beginner forums. Any "whoring" (posting simply to raise your post count) will return your count to 0, or result in a ban.

These are the rules. Read them. Live by them.

1) Absolutely NO flaming! "Flaming" is an outright attack on a member. ALL questions are encouraged to be asked here, no matter how basic. Members with over 30 posts will be subject to a ONE WEEK ban if caught flaming in this forum (and yes, moderators can read deleted posts). Members with under 30 posts will be subject to a ONE DAY ban.

2) Use appropriate language. Racial or sexual slurs will not be tolerated. A ban will be issued at the discretion of the cb7tuner.com staff.

3) No items may be sold in the Beginner forums. Any "for sale" threads will be deleted.

4) Temporarily banned members will be PERMANTLY banned if they are found posting on another account.

The rules can and will be added to. Any updates will be marked in the title.

    Air inlet ideas

so i finally got the rest of my cold air in (b4 it was like a short ram) and its all nice and tightend down good....but im looking to put some kinda air inlet in the front of the car some where. the box that i took out of the space where the filter is now has some kinda inlet looking holes/tubes (the box was located infron tof the passenger tire in the wheel well...if u didnt know what i was talking bout)

im thinking of cutting one of these tube-ish things and putting it in the area in the grill to the right of the lower turn signal....im looking for advice if anyone has done/attempted this b4

    Like that?
Or do you mean ducting from below the indicator to the airfilter?

lots of rain like you said, and that area intake location, you're just begging to be hydrolocked.

hydrolock aside....the box that was in the space, there is a tube-ish thing that led to the side of the fender...if i were to cut it off and mount it underneath MY fog lights would that do

thats what i did . aem makes a water valve that catches the incoming rain before it reaches the filter .i made a ram air and in the air tube i made about 4 holes so water can escape before it made its way to my filter.

1.5" diameter is really too small to get any significant amount of flow, especially with all those bends.
2.5" / 3" would be a better option and use flexi hose rather than PVC with sharp bends.
