ANY BUYING/SELLING IN THIS FORUM WILL RESULT IN AN INSTANT BAN!

Read the rules: http://www.cb7tuner.com/vbb/showthread.php?t=43956

Myself, and the other mods have been very nice and lenient with the rules. We have been deleting threads, and giving out warnings. Some members didn't get the clue and re-posted over and over... Now ANY member buying or selling in this section will be banned... No IF's AND's or BUT's.

Beginner Forum Rules - EVERYBODY read! (old and new members alike!)

Beginners start here. Once you have 30 worthwhile posts (off topic doesn't count) you may post outside of the Beginner forums. Any "whoring" (posting simply to raise your post count) will return your count to 0, or result in a ban.

These are the rules. Read them. Live by them.

1) Absolutely NO flaming! "Flaming" is an outright attack on a member. ALL questions are encouraged to be asked here, no matter how basic. Members with over 30 posts will be subject to a ONE WEEK ban if caught flaming in this forum (and yes, moderators can read deleted posts). Members with under 30 posts will be subject to a ONE DAY ban.

2) Use appropriate language. Racial or sexual slurs will not be tolerated. A ban will be issued at the discretion of the cb7tuner.com staff.

3) No items may be sold in the Beginner forums. Any "for sale" threads will be deleted.

4) Temporarily banned members will be PERMANTLY banned if they are found posting on another account.

The rules can and will be added to. Any updates will be marked in the title.

The rules for the overall forum can be found here:

Read them. You will be expected to follow them.

    my H22a

Hello my name is afief and i have a 90 accord 4dr H22a. I recieved a 90 accord from my uncle as a deal if i could start it and get it running i can have it. The problem was an ignition fuse, it was blown. When i recieved the car it had oil leak water pump leaked vtec didnt xover and the wiring was a mess. I fixed all the issues finally and chipped ecu with an H22 base map. Now the car isnt revving past 6k. I changed the dizzy fuel filter, fuel injectors, egr, and 4 ecus. all i have is cel for o2 and i changed. Finally i removed my exhaust and it fixed the problem. I am amazed at the power and feel of this car. The only problem i have is my oil light is blinking

So you removed your exhaust and the car ran fine? Your cat was probably clogged up.

yes. I loosened the front collector below the mainfold and the car was running alot better. The idle improved alot also and runs smoother. I am going to hollow out my cat.I have alreday put in new piping 2 1/,but i replaced the cat last year for emissions and im very surprised its already clogged.

Is the oil light blinking only on idle or even when the rpm raises. You can start with the oil sending unit/sensor and see if it fixes the problem. If not it could be the ICM or the oil pump.

Yeah, if it's the sending unit, it's not a big deal. Still needs to be fixed, but not an immediate threat to your engine. If it's actually warning you that your oil pressure is low... that's something to take VERY seriously.

I placed the car on the lift and it seems the oil sending unit is leaking. so i will fix that first then go from there.

Hopefully that's the only problem as far as the oil system goes! That's an easy fix, and the chance is low that any damage was done (unless your oil pressure or level dropped dangerously low due to the leak)

the blinking light sounds like the oil pressure sending unit, it is a high pressure sensor and if it is leaking then it isnt reading the pressure it should. My f22a had that same problem, and I replaced it and it fixed the blinking light problem, but it later destroyed itself ( I think bc i lost oil pressure due to a bad pump or clogged pickup, I havent tore it down yet )
