ANY BUYING/SELLING IN THIS FORUM WILL RESULT IN AN INSTANT BAN!

Read the rules: http://www.cb7tuner.com/vbb/showthread.php?t=43956

Myself, and the other mods have been very nice and lenient with the rules. We have been deleting threads, and giving out warnings. Some members didn't get the clue and re-posted over and over... Now ANY member buying or selling in this section will be banned... No IF's AND's or BUT's.

Beginner Forum Rules - EVERYBODY read! (old and new members alike!)

Beginners start here. Once you have 30 worthwhile posts (off topic doesn't count) you may post outside of the Beginner forums. Any "whoring" (posting simply to raise your post count) will return your count to 0, or result in a ban.

These are the rules. Read them. Live by them.

1) Absolutely NO flaming! "Flaming" is an outright attack on a member. ALL questions are encouraged to be asked here, no matter how basic. Members with over 30 posts will be subject to a ONE WEEK ban if caught flaming in this forum (and yes, moderators can read deleted posts). Members with under 30 posts will be subject to a ONE DAY ban.

2) Use appropriate language. Racial or sexual slurs will not be tolerated. A ban will be issued at the discretion of the cb7tuner.com staff.

3) No items may be sold in the Beginner forums. Any "for sale" threads will be deleted.

4) Temporarily banned members will be PERMANTLY banned if they are found posting on another account.

The rules can and will be added to. Any updates will be marked in the title.

    Turbo H22 code#3???

I got a 92 Accord LX with a H22 turbo. It's running really weird sometimes it takes a few hours to crank back up, and it idles really low about 500 RPM but now it's got to where it will shut off if you dont give it gas when your slowing down at a red light. The only CEL is code#3 the MAP sensor, could this be causing all of it? I've searched and people seem to kinda have the same problem as me but i havent seen a remedy for the issue, i dont wanna go spend $250 bucks in a MAP sensor if i dont need one. I'm a Nissan guy my self and this is my first Honda/turbo car (which i LOVE)and dont know too much about Honda's, so Any help would be greatly appreciated.

What are you running for fuel management?

I assume you bought this car as it is... which is going to make things VERY difficult as far as diagnosing problems, unless you are in contact with the person that built it.

Yes i do smell gas, its quite strong if you drive behind it.

As far as fuel management is has a Greddy Emanage(blue). It was running fine untill about a week ago, now it shuts off at trafflights and stop signs, etc.

Yes i think it is 1 bar which is 10psi? Im only running 7psi at the moment. I know the previous owner had problems with the MAP and said he cleaned it, i read cleaning it is only temporaily and it's a 50/50 chance it will work. I might try cleaning it but more than likely im gonna replace it with a new one.

                  1 bar is 14psi.

Still, it's old... and MAP sensors crap out when they're not being abused by turbo!
Replace it. It's time. If it doesn't fix the problem, we can dig deeper... but everything points to the MAP.

I got another question, my h22 has a map sensor on the TB also, i was wondering if i could wire that one up and just do away with the little black box MAP sensor? Thats wat it looks like 92smokeaccord might have done, and if so do i use the same 3 wire hookup that the black triangle box uses?
