ANY BUYING/SELLING IN THIS FORUM WILL RESULT IN AN INSTANT BAN!

Read the rules: http://www.cb7tuner.com/vbb/showthread.php?t=43956

Myself, and the other mods have been very nice and lenient with the rules. We have been deleting threads, and giving out warnings. Some members didn't get the clue and re-posted over and over... Now ANY member buying or selling in this section will be banned... No IF's AND's or BUT's.

Beginner Forum Rules - EVERYBODY read! (old and new members alike!)

Beginners start here. Once you have 30 worthwhile posts (off topic doesn't count) you may post outside of the Beginner forums. Any "whoring" (posting simply to raise your post count) will return your count to 0, or result in a ban.

These are the rules. Read them. Live by them.

1) Absolutely NO flaming! "Flaming" is an outright attack on a member. ALL questions are encouraged to be asked here, no matter how basic. Members with over 30 posts will be subject to a ONE WEEK ban if caught flaming in this forum (and yes, moderators can read deleted posts). Members with under 30 posts will be subject to a ONE DAY ban.

2) Use appropriate language. Racial or sexual slurs will not be tolerated. A ban will be issued at the discretion of the cb7tuner.com staff.

3) No items may be sold in the Beginner forums. Any "for sale" threads will be deleted.

4) Temporarily banned members will be PERMANTLY banned if they are found posting on another account.

The rules can and will be added to. Any updates will be marked in the title.

The rules for the overall forum can be found here:

Read them. You will be expected to follow them.

    Intake question..

sup guys, I bought an AEM intake from a member on here but it doesn't have a hook up for one of my vacuum hoses. It has the hook up for the thicker hose that comes from the valve cover but it doesn't have the hook up for the thinner vacuum hose.

here's an EXAMPLE pic of the hose that I'm talking about:

So basically, I have that hose loose right now. Is there anything that I can do about it? Does it affect anything?

you could drill a hole alittle bit smaller than the vacume line and feed the vacume line in that way and seal it up

or you could split the line from the bigger hose and and run it from that

you could probably find some kind of T split somewere

now as to what it goes to i think it goes to some air fuel boost system i cant exactly remember ill look it up in my service manual and get back to you

okay if you can hook up a mini filter that would work
but really if you can just filter the air going into that line that will work

Yes it is the air boost valve that it feeds, it's not a vacuum line it is a fresh air feed line. Putting some sort of filter on it would work. Or if you want, you could buy a brass barb hose fitting, drill a hole in the intake tube just big enough to screw in the barb, use some RTV sealant and you should be good to go. Or if you know how or know someone who can braze/weld. You could braze/weld a fitting in place.

I would use a mini filter on the vc and now you have a port in your intake tube for the air boost valve, in fact that is wat i did
