ANY BUYING/SELLING IN THIS FORUM WILL RESULT IN AN INSTANT BAN!

Read the rules: http://www.cb7tuner.com/vbb/showthread.php?t=43956

Myself, and the other mods have been very nice and lenient with the rules. We have been deleting threads, and giving out warnings. Some members didn't get the clue and re-posted over and over... Now ANY member buying or selling in this section will be banned... No IF's AND's or BUT's.

Beginner Forum Rules - EVERYBODY read! (old and new members alike!)

Beginners start here. Once you have 30 worthwhile posts (off topic doesn't count) you may post outside of the Beginner forums. Any "whoring" (posting simply to raise your post count) will return your count to 0, or result in a ban.

These are the rules. Read them. Live by them.

1) Absolutely NO flaming! "Flaming" is an outright attack on a member. ALL questions are encouraged to be asked here, no matter how basic. Members with over 30 posts will be subject to a ONE WEEK ban if caught flaming in this forum (and yes, moderators can read deleted posts). Members with under 30 posts will be subject to a ONE DAY ban.

2) Use appropriate language. Racial or sexual slurs will not be tolerated. A ban will be issued at the discretion of the cb7tuner.com staff.

3) No items may be sold in the Beginner forums. Any "for sale" threads will be deleted.

4) Temporarily banned members will be PERMANTLY banned if they are found posting on another account.

The rules can and will be added to. Any updates will be marked in the title.

The rules for the overall forum can be found here:

Read them. You will be expected to follow them.

Didn't know they made them obd2..

Anyways. H23 obd1 dizzy and injectors. Use your cb wiring harness. Everything should be plug n play.

Leave the crank sensor wire unplugged. It should be coming out the side by the crank pulley.

Any obd1 ecu like the p14 or p39 is good.

H23 injectors are the same as F22A injectors.

It's really just the dizzy you need.

I still can't believe this is an OBD2 engine. Especially since you said it was newer than 1998. I'm 100% certain the F22B was a 4th gen Prelude motor only. Look at the date stamps between the exhaust ports. That will tell you the year of your engine.

I did find something on a Prelude site that said 98+, and someone on here did mention 1996 YEARS ago (which would still be the 4th gen Prelude...) so maybe it's possible... but still... news to me!

the f22b did come in ob2 for the 98-2001 prelude si from japan. I have it in my 92 accord as well although i did not do the swap and have no clue what wiring harness or ecu im running. i need some help because my car has a terrible surging idle and with the obd2 motor there is a map sensor on top of the tb and the wiring harness i has no hook up for it whatsoever and im stuck, the only way i can avoid the idle is unhooking my tps which is causing my gas mileage to suck and my car to idle at 1300rpm. can someone help and tell me what wiring harness and ecu to run obd1, do i need anything else? thanks

You might want to ask your specific questions in your own thread, rather than digging up a thread from 2010 that only VERY slightly relates to your situation.

The MAP sensor being used is probably the one on the firewall. The ECU should be a P39, but it's probably not. Pull it out and look at it. You should see PT3, PT6, P14, P39, or something similar in the code on the side of it. The wiring harness should be the stock Accord harness. Unless the person that did the swap was an idiot, the car should still be OBD1
