Myself, and the other mods have been very nice and lenient with the rules. We have been deleting threads, and giving out warnings. Some members didn't get the clue and re-posted over and over... Now ANY member buying or selling in this section will be banned... No IF's AND's or BUT's.

Beginner Forum Rules - EVERYBODY read! (old and new members alike!)

Beginners start here. Once you have 30 worthwhile posts (off topic doesn't count) you may post outside of the Beginner forums. Any "whoring" (posting simply to raise your post count) will return your count to 0, or result in a ban.

These are the rules. Read them. Live by them.

1) Absolutely NO flaming! "Flaming" is an outright attack on a member. ALL questions are encouraged to be asked here, no matter how basic. Members with over 30 posts will be subject to a ONE WEEK ban if caught flaming in this forum (and yes, moderators can read deleted posts). Members with under 30 posts will be subject to a ONE DAY ban.

2) Use appropriate language. Racial or sexual slurs will not be tolerated. A ban will be issued at the discretion of the cb7tuner.com staff.

3) No items may be sold in the Beginner forums. Any "for sale" threads will be deleted.

4) Temporarily banned members will be PERMANTLY banned if they are found posting on another account.

The rules can and will be added to. Any updates will be marked in the title.

    F22A Turbo kit? What is needed

    Hey i have a 90 accord with the F22a motor. I am looking into possibly running a turbo kit http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eB...=STRK:MEWAX:IT

    What else is needed after i buy a kit like this. Injectors and tune? or is there more that i am missing? I need some major help deciding what to do and what is needed. This kit looks cheap yes but not looking to boost a whole lot just wanna have some fun and have a turbo CB

    Try looking through the forced induction section on the big kid side of the site. You won't be able to post there, but you can still look and glean information.

      Those cheap Chinese turbo kits are bad news. The only things I'd trust from that would be the charge piping, and maybe the turbo manifold. I wouldn't use that turbo, or the intercooler, or anything else that would actually do damage to your engine if it fails.

      But yes, injectors and a tunable ECU (with a good tune) are all you'd need. The tune is the big part... and quite possibly the most expensive part if you don't know how to do it yourself. Without a proper tune (not a basemap that someone on the internet gave you, you HAVE to have it tuned for your particular engine!) then you will blow up very quickly. As it is, if you boost a stock block, you're going to blow a ringland sooner or later no matter what.

      You'll also need a new clutch. The stock clutch won't handle the torque for long.
