ANY BUYING/SELLING IN THIS FORUM WILL RESULT IN AN INSTANT BAN!

Read the rules: http://www.cb7tuner.com/vbb/showthread.php?t=43956

Myself, and the other mods have been very nice and lenient with the rules. We have been deleting threads, and giving out warnings. Some members didn't get the clue and re-posted over and over... Now ANY member buying or selling in this section will be banned... No IF's AND's or BUT's.

Beginner Forum Rules - EVERYBODY read! (old and new members alike!)

Beginners start here. Once you have 30 worthwhile posts (off topic doesn't count) you may post outside of the Beginner forums. Any "whoring" (posting simply to raise your post count) will return your count to 0, or result in a ban.

These are the rules. Read them. Live by them.

1) Absolutely NO flaming! "Flaming" is an outright attack on a member. ALL questions are encouraged to be asked here, no matter how basic. Members with over 30 posts will be subject to a ONE WEEK ban if caught flaming in this forum (and yes, moderators can read deleted posts). Members with under 30 posts will be subject to a ONE DAY ban.

Car stalls when coming to a stop.

Car stalls when coming to a stop.

I have a problem with my 92 Accord LX. When I come to a stop the car will stall, this only happens when I have 1/4 tank of gas or less.

I was initially having a problem similar to this one Engine Dies While Driving. Help diagnose this.

    After changing:
    1. Fuel pump
    2. Fuel Filter
    3. Fuel pressure regulator
    4. Ignition Control Module (Finally did the trick)

After finally changing the Ignition control module the car is now running correctly except for when the gas gauge gets below a 1/4. This usually only happens when I am coming to a stop but it also happens if I go into a right hand corner to hard and sometimes when I am on a hill at a light. But under any of the above conditions it doesn't every time. It seems to happen more if the A/C or air is on, so I was thinking maybe a problem with power. I just can't figure out why it would only happen when the gas is low and not all the time.

I have changed almost everything that I can in the fuel system.

    Anyone have any ideas?

Try cleaning your IACV and check fuel pressure.

Thanks for the suggestions. I will try cleaning my IACV and checking the fuel pressure.

I have already adjusted the idle it was running about 750 rpm now I have it at about 900.

Thought about the gas gauge being wrong. Maybe when we put the fuel level sensor/float back in we bent something or put it on backwards, but when I fill the tank it shows as full on the gauge and doesn't even barely go above the full line.

Thanks again for the suggestions and will try everything and see how it goes.

                car stall

These are nice tips but first I'll focus on gas gauge. Then I'll try cleaning the fuel pressure and see what will happen.

I had a problem similar to this, my O2 sensor was corroded and it was causing me to stall at lights and low RPM's. But it does sound like your not getting the fuel from the tank. Especially since you turn a corner the fuel sloshes to one side of the tank and you stall...hmmmm......
