Myself, and the other mods have been very nice and lenient with the rules. We have been deleting threads, and giving out warnings. Some members didn't get the clue and re-posted over and over... Now ANY member buying or selling in this section will be banned... No IF's AND's or BUT's.

Beginner Forum Rules - EVERYBODY read! (old and new members alike!)

Beginners start here. Once you have 30 worthwhile posts (off topic doesn't count) you may post outside of the Beginner forums. Any "whoring" (posting simply to raise your post count) will return your count to 0, or result in a ban.

These are the rules. Read them. Live by them.

1) Absolutely NO flaming! "Flaming" is an outright attack on a member. ALL questions are encouraged to be asked here, no matter how basic. Members with over 30 posts will be subject to a ONE WEEK ban if caught flaming in this forum (and yes, moderators can read deleted posts). Members with under 30 posts will be subject to a ONE DAY ban.

2) Use appropriate language. Racial or sexual slurs will not be tolerated. A ban will be issued at the discretion of the cb7tuner.com staff.

3) No items may be sold in the Beginner forums. Any "for sale" threads will be deleted.

4) Temporarily banned members will be PERMANTLY banned if they are found posting on another account.

The rules can and will be added to. Any updates will be marked in the title.

F20A5 Turbo 250 -300 hp? Possible?

    F20A5 Turbo 250 -300 hp? Possible?

    Hi, I'm new here, and i try to find some information about F20A5( stock 137 hp) engine but i don't see any information about this engine. I would like to add my Acc. turbo to have about 250-300 hp. Stock engine will not blow? Sorry for my english.

    P.S. I'm from europe - Poland


    Any answer will be good to hear.

    You have a 9.5:1 compression ratio, which is fairly high in comparison to the F22A's 8.8:1. Still something you can work with, but you'll have less room for error when tuning.

    250whp has been done quite a few times on an otherwise stock F22A on here, so I'm sure the F20A5 is just as capable. Just be sure to get a properly sized turbo, injectors, and intercooler, as well as a quality wastegate. Then be sure you get the ECU tuned carefully.
    Most stock-block turbo motors DO blow up eventually. The ringlands are the first thing to give out. I'm quite sure you'll be able to pull off 250whp. 300whp might not last very long.

      This information is for me very valuable. My mechanic dont have experience with that kind of motor, he work mostly with Civic's,. Cylinder head will be upper. Turbo will be GT28RS, jdm intercooler, ECU - P28 with chrome, fuel pump - walbro 255, street clutch, exhaust 3" from engine to muffler, injectors we will try in few versions.

      If any have any suggestions,tell me.
