so i went to pass someone yesterday dropped three and got in the other lane and my wheel locked up started sliding and my axle snapped so i rolled off the road. looked under my car thought maybe just the axle so i pushed it in a driveway got it towed home. (It was a sad day seeing the cb on a trailer) got home put it in the jack stands took the axle out but i cant get the piece out of the tranny and i started it and let the clutch out and it idles at 30mph. put it in first tried to let the clutch out and it died. revved it up tried letting it out and it died. whats going on? i know it is something inside the tranny cause its fine when the clutch is in. please help.

i know this. trying to figure out what actually happened inside, like i know when you mess your syncro up it wont go in gear when you blow the diff it usually goes through your tranny housing and i pulled the halfshaft out and looked in there and i can see the diff is still together. so what could this be?

i have went through a few tranny's and kinda want to tear this one down and rebuild it. im gonna get a new one so my car isn't down for too long but might as well learn to rebuild to new. i used to just replace engines but now i rebuild them. im very happy with the results of the motor so trying to have a super fresh tranny too. and the peace of mind of a brand new motor is really nice. i got this one used about a month ago. im hard on shit but damn! a month! also does anyone know if h22 trannys are stronger than f22 trannys? are the materials on the gears different or? i want long gears for boost but dont want to go through them like this. someone said that it blew cause i used a single cam tranny with my h22. are h22 axles and f22 axles the same?

the axle like cup is stuck in the passenger side of the tranny but the rest of the axle is out and off the car and the half shaft is completely off the car. the first time i had to like break it loose io revved it to 2500 rpms and let the clutch out it went to 30 then put it in gear and revved it to like 3k and it would break loose or anything. it is out of my car now anyone know i site that shows how to tear apart a f or h tranny?
