ANY BUYING/SELLING IN THIS FORUM WILL RESULT IN AN INSTANT BAN!

Read the rules: http://www.cb7tuner.com/vbb/showthread.php?t=43956

Myself, and the other mods have been very nice and lenient with the rules. We have been deleting threads, and giving out warnings. Some members didn't get the clue and re-posted over and over... Now ANY member buying or selling in this section will be banned... No IF's AND's or BUT's.

Beginner Forum Rules - EVERYBODY read! (old and new members alike!)

Beginners start here. Once you have 30 worthwhile posts (off topic doesn't count) you may post outside of the Beginner forums. Any "whoring" (posting simply to raise your post count) will return your count to 0, or result in a ban.

These are the rules. Read them. Live by them.

1) Absolutely NO flaming! "Flaming" is an outright attack on a member. ALL questions are encouraged to be asked here, no matter how basic. Members with over 30 posts will be subject to a ONE WEEK ban if caught flaming in this forum (and yes, moderators can read deleted posts). Members with under 30 posts will be subject to a ONE DAY ban.

2) Use appropriate language. Racial or sexual slurs will not be tolerated. A ban will be issued at the discretion of the cb7tuner.com staff.

3) No items may be sold in the Beginner forums. Any "for sale" threads will be deleted.

4) Temporarily banned members will be PERMANTLY banned if they are found posting on another account.

The rules can and will be added to. Any updates will be marked in the title.

The rules for the overall forum can be found here:

Read them. You will be expected to follow them.

Stage 3 what? "Stage 3" is not a universal rating. A cheap shit "Stage 3" clutch will probably be worse than a quality OEM replacement.

And it's spelled "chirp", not "churp".

And stickier tires? No... if you want them to "churp"... get hard tires that don't grip. They'll break free easily.

ok well forgive me for saying stickier, but i meant new tires fresh rubber or alot of thread cause usually when your thread is low it wont chirp only slip

lol, if anything if you just want to chirp tires, you should have put the stock flywheel in it and get some cheap chinese tires that squeel easily.

ive got mine to chirp with a lightened flywheel by doubling clutching it or not letting off the gas when i shift. this is basic physics, think about why a tire chirps.

Yeah, you installed a shit clutch. Good job, sparky.
Next time, get a real clutch. That thing is probably worse than the one it replaced.

Hopefully you'll get to enjoy your turbo a little before that clutch gives out on you.

i did the same when i bought my first cb.bought the stage 3 blue f1 racing clutch.and after the breakin period it was slippin and would not grab for shit.and after a while the springs in the center of the clutch broke out of the housing.screwed every thing up.it even poped out a couple of the forks in the presser plate.so if i were u i would get a exedy clutch and swap them out right away.

                      my new turbo build

Honda-Tech is full of fucking ricers. Dont ever get on that website again unless there is a very helpful article on the performance of your car. 99% of the information you need lies here.

I bought an Exedy stage 1 and I am very sure it grabs a hell of a lot better than that F1 you are using. If you want a REAL clutch then it has to be ACT, Exedy, and all of the other brand name manufacturers. If it says XTD, XTR, F1, or any of that cheap ebay shit, stay away from it. You might as well go ahead and save some money for a new clutch and yank that old one out. Make sure you send it back to the seller.

I've heard nothing but good things about LSD motorsports clutches. And mostly from guys with turbo cars. I'd look them up. Also, XTD's aren't terrible for chinaman parts, but they aren't nearly as good as a quality brand like exedy.
