What parts do yall preferr other than OEM parts for like the fuel filter, rotor buttom, distributor cap, pcv valve and oil fliter

Simple parts are fine for aftermarket. Parts like major suspension components , I'd like to keep OEM or better.

On the proviso that you will be keeping the car in the long haul my adivse is below:

ALL Fluids other than oil and fuel i will buy honda.

Parts i suggest oem honda (if you can afford), unless you dont mind doing the same job twice or thrice because of failed parts.

Not to mention the grief and nearly going looney trying to find the problem (when it was the recent part you installed ALL Along - right under your nose)

Unless you are damn sure its an OEM manufacturer or the actual supplier by Honda i will buy Honda. That way what ever part it is, i will have the peace of mind to be good for at least another DECADE!!

Eg. All rubber seals and gaskets, Ball Joints, OEM quiet mufflers, Brake Rotors, Wheel Bearings and electrical engine and ignition parts etc i will buy Honda. Then i know it will be good for at least a decade - not 4 to 6 years (which is considered reasonable by other manufacturers standards) with an added risk of being earlier.

Dont let the added cost fool you. It will pay back dividends more that its worth.

Honda makes parts that last.
