ANY BUYING/SELLING IN THIS FORUM WILL RESULT IN AN INSTANT BAN!

Read the rules: http://www.cb7tuner.com/vbb/showthread.php?t=43956

Myself, and the other mods have been very nice and lenient with the rules. We have been deleting threads, and giving out warnings. Some members didn't get the clue and re-posted over and over... Now ANY member buying or selling in this section will be banned... No IF's AND's or BUT's.

Beginner Forum Rules - EVERYBODY read! (old and new members alike!)

Beginners start here. Once you have 30 worthwhile posts (off topic doesn't count) you may post outside of the Beginner forums. Any "whoring" (posting simply to raise your post count) will return your count to 0, or result in a ban.

These are the rules. Read them. Live by them.

1) Absolutely NO flaming! "Flaming" is an outright attack on a member. ALL questions are encouraged to be asked here, no matter how basic. Members with over 30 posts will be subject to a ONE WEEK ban if caught flaming in this forum (and yes, moderators can read deleted posts). Members with under 30 posts will be subject to a ONE DAY ban.

2) Use appropriate language. Racial or sexual slurs will not be tolerated. A ban will be issued at the discretion of the cb7tuner.com staff.

3) No items may be sold in the Beginner forums. Any "for sale" threads will be deleted.

4) Temporarily banned members will be PERMANTLY banned if they are found posting on another account.

The rules can and will be added to. Any updates will be marked in the title.

The rules for the overall forum can be found here:

Read them. You will be expected to follow them.

    H22a SWAP wiring problem

sorry i wanted to post this in the swaps section.but it wouldnt let me
lol feel free to copy and paste my problem into the swaps section
    but here's my problem

ok i did a swap in my accord with a h22a
i ran into a small problem.
now mind you im not a mechanic i've only done light mechanical work.
the accord i have is a lx 5speed
well i bought a accord SE that had a h22a dropped into it.
i bought the car and dropped the engine into my car but the only downfall the h22a had a auto tranny.
i swapped my f22 5speed tranny on the h22 and i got all the wiring hooked up but the wiring on the bulkhead is all the same but the one plug.
which is prolly due to the wiring harness bring from the SE Accord.
i have a parts car that is a EX and i have extra plugs from that car.
should i just use my stock wiring harness from my f22 lx or would it work just cutting off the bulk plug off of my lx and swap it out with the plug that fits from the EX? thers about 6-7 extra wires but the rest of
the wires have the same colors and stripes?
i would really be thankful for some advice

4 wires have to be added for the H22. Those are the wires that you're missing.

You can't post in the swaps section, but you can read... there's a VERY detailed walkthrough for the H22 swap in there. Check it out.

Its always always always! Best to use the same exact engine harness the car came with.

Its all plug and play except your O2 sensor wiring (make it longer) and the 4 h22 wires that need to be added..
