NO CEL, spuddering acceleration

i juss swapped out my blow up A6 an got an A1....
A1 didnt have the intake mani, so i swapped mine onto it. put it in an wala...
i get a hesitation when i tap the throttle... does the A6 intake manni differ from the A1 manny? Injectors bigger smaller? as i said, im not getting any CEL's altho i did when my TPS clip cracked so i had to zip tie it back up, but now no CEL...
i get spudder/hesitation when i first try to accel. then clears up. when in gear an foot on the brake, it spudders, an drops idle a lil ....... any suggestions? dirty IAC valve? EGR? please help! this sucks!!!

Could be a few things. Could be that you are running a PT6 ECU with an A1 camshaft... which is the only difference in the engine itself from the A6. But I'm not sure that "it" could be the problem.
Or could be that you have a bad Oxygen Sensor or a clogged EGR system.

I'm not entirely sure, so you should do a bit of research on based on what symptoms you have.

By the way, the A6 intake mani is better than the A1, but only if the butterflies are working properly.

pt6 runs the a1 cam just fine.
sooo thats not it, but def check your other issues.
what do you mean by spuddering? hesitation on takeoff?
does it stay that way and you are able to accelerate normal after a certain rpm?


lil more info would be extremely helpful. timing could also be off.
how many miles on a6 engine and where did you get it?

Try cleaning out your EGR ports first , before anything...

Symptons of bad dizzy...?

after swappin motors, i tried setting my dizzy, but it still spuddered an bogged when adjusting it. tried it again today, an no luck, get on highway an wala! RPM needle starts dancing on my dash!!. now before it started dancing, could the spuddering an sudden cut outs be a sympton of a dizzy goin bad?... so i guess im on the hunt for a new dizzy for my 92 ex sedan with the coil....?? HELP ME ASAP PLEASE!!!

yes it does hesitate until certain RPM... i had no issuses with my old A6 motor, only thing i did was swapp manifolds i put my A6 manny on the A1 . BUT today, i BELIEVE my dizzy went bad b\c its now dancing all over my dash..... bad dizzy would certainly cuz hesitation an all right?

I've had that.

Swap a known good distributor and clean those ports.

so could i pop my girls 90 lx dizzy into mine? or no cuz hers doesnt have the coil, an mine does? or could i just unplugg it to see if it works?
