Hey guys, my CB just died in the middle of the road upon acceleration and is giving me MULTIPLE TCU codes... 1,2,3,7,8 or 9 (can't remember), and 14. The car is still stuck (after I got it into a parking lot) and I'm going back in a little bit to investigate further, reset the memory (pull the fuse) check for other blown fuses maybe, etc. Anyone have any experience with this many codes at once??? I already know the TCU could be shot but would that make the car die INSTANTLY??? 1991 SE A6

ANY BUYING/SELLING IN THIS FORUM WILL RESULT IN AN INSTANT BAN!
Read the rules: http://www.cb7tuner.com/vbb/showthread.php?t=43956
Myself, and the other mods have been very nice and lenient with the rules. We have been deleting threads, and giving out warnings. Some members didn't get the clue and re-posted over and over... Now ANY member buying or selling in this section will be banned... No IF's AND's or BUT's.

Beginner Forum Rules - EVERYBODY read! (old and new members alike!)
Beginners start here. Once you have 30 worthwhile posts (off topic doesn't count) you may post outside of the Beginner forums. Any "whoring" (posting simply to raise your post count) will return your count to 0, or result in a ban.
These are the rules. Read them. Live by them.
1) Absolutely NO flaming! "Flaming" is an outright attack on a member. ALL questions are encouraged to be asked here, no matter how basic. Members with over 30 posts will be subject to a ONE WEEK ban if caught flaming in this forum (and yes, moderators can read deleted posts). Members with under 30 posts will be subject to a ONE DAY ban.
2) Use appropriate language. Racial or sexual slurs will not be tolerated. A ban will be issued at the discretion of the cb7tuner.com staff.
3) No items may be sold in the Beginner forums. Any "for sale" threads will be deleted.
4) Temporarily banned members will be PERMANTLY banned if they are found posting on another account.
The rules can and will be added to. Any updates will be marked in the title.
The rules for the overall forum can be found here:

Multiple TCU Codes

No ECU codes at all... and that's what's weird about it is that I expected to see the O2 sensor codes because they've been on for a while now but they didn't show up when I jumped the connector at all???? Another weird thing is that I didn't have to jump the connector to get the TCU codes... they just started flashing when the ignition was turned on. Nothing changed after putting the jumper in... No ECU codes and just the 6 or so TCU codes.http://www.cb7tuner.com/shrug.gif

Well, it's fixed. I checked the fuses and the ECU fuse was blown which explains why I didn't see the codes I already knew I had previously. The fuse blew because... a few months ago, I left some wires connected to the ECU after I was finished troubleshooting a previous problem (that's why I got the car for $10) and they apparently shorted. NOTE TO SELF: Do not leave wires connected to the ECU without properly terminating them!
