Will 205/65/15 tires work?

Does anyone else have these on their stock EX rims? I tried searching but could'nt find what I was lookin' for...was wondering if they would fit OK? Thanx...

eh...205/60 is what I run on mine and they are just fine. 205/65 is a little taller but nothing too bad.

205/60/r15 is what you want

The second number " 60 " is the height. But its 60% of 205 width. So if you increase width the second number has to drop to keep the same sidewall height.

well if you already have them, they WILL work, they'll just be a bit meaty.

I have these wheels but havent tried them on yet.

I bought them with Honda Rims (unique pattern too) but i then changed my mind as i wanted the original jdm saw blades look for now.

I set them next to it and it seems to fit ok in the wheel well.

Remember some of the european cars have tyres which have close to only half an inch from the top of the wheel well and they still have enough play to avoid rubbing.

I think a big factor on your accord being able to accept this tyre are below

1) The OFFSET on your rims (particularly if aftermarket or from another make and model even if still Honda rims).

2) Another is the camber. If the setting is too acute there will be less play for road bumps.

3) One last factor to consider is your suspensions (shock and springs). Extra travel caused by worn suspensions may cause the tyres to rub. I didnt mention ride height since you confirmed your car is not lowered.

If all the above is stock then chances are you should be fine.

One big or HUGE advantage of selecting tyre's with this dimension is you get more tread life and comfort. Perfect for someone on a budget or cruiser and classy build approach!

It would mean more money can go towards JDM and other rare parts since you will not be needing another set of tyres for a longer period (compared to someone with low profile tyres with low tread wear ratings, softer rubber compounds that wear out faster and costs more).

Personally I would concentrate more on maintenance and JDM parts rather than blowing money on low and expensive profile tyres.

excellent info thanks for the help everyone...yep everything on the car is stock for now...got a real good deal on these tires and since I'm on a tight budget the price was right...I actually like the stock EX rims...
