ANY BUYING/SELLING IN THIS FORUM WILL RESULT IN AN INSTANT BAN!

Read the rules: http://www.cb7tuner.com/vbb/showthread.php?t=43956

Myself, and the other mods have been very nice and lenient with the rules. We have been deleting threads, and giving out warnings. Some members didn't get the clue and re-posted over and over... Now ANY member buying or selling in this section will be banned... No IF's AND's or BUT's.

Beginner Forum Rules - EVERYBODY read! (old and new members alike!)

Beginners start here. Once you have 30 worthwhile posts (off topic doesn't count) you may post outside of the Beginner forums. Any "whoring" (posting simply to raise your post count) will return your count to 0, or result in a ban.

These are the rules. Read them. Live by them.

1) Absolutely NO flaming! "Flaming" is an outright attack on a member. ALL questions are encouraged to be asked here, no matter how basic. Members with over 30 posts will be subject to a ONE WEEK ban if caught flaming in this forum (and yes, moderators can read deleted posts). Members with under 30 posts will be subject to a ONE DAY ban.

2) Use appropriate language. Racial or sexual slurs will not be tolerated. A ban will be issued at the discretion of the cb7tuner.com staff.

3) No items may be sold in the Beginner forums. Any "for sale" threads will be deleted.

4) Temporarily banned members will be PERMANTLY banned if they are found posting on another account.

The rules can and will be added to. Any updates will be marked in the title.

The rules for the overall forum can be found here:

Read them. You will be expected to follow them.

The pt6 will run a little richer and you'll lose the speed limiter. If you want to swap ECUs for more power, get a p12 from the f22a1 Prelude. It's the only difference in the driveline, and the Prelude came with ten more ponies than the Accord.

If you want to know more, do an advanced search for "p12" in the titles.

I personally have never run a p12 but I have run a pt6. I did notice a difference in power. I already have the h23a intake, with a cold air, and DC header with full exhaust. It helped with the butterfly valves and no speed limiter.

The f22a6 makes a bit more power than the f22a1 that came in the Prelude due to the different cam, better exhaust manifold and dual runners on the intake manifold. I thought the pt6 had a better tune for the dual runners.

Uh, yes, but the Prelude f22a1 had 10 more ponies than the Accord f22a1. The f22a6 only had 15 more than the f22a1 in the Accord with (as you said) a different ECU, cam, intake and exhaust manifolds.
The ECU alone from the f22a6 (the pt6) isn't going to give you as much power as the p12 on a stock f22a1. You need the IM, cam, exhaust manifold AND the pt6 in order to make 5 more hp than you get from the p12 alone.
