ANY BUYING/SELLING IN THIS FORUM WILL RESULT IN AN INSTANT BAN!

Read the rules: http://www.cb7tuner.com/vbb/showthread.php?t=43956

Myself, and the other mods have been very nice and lenient with the rules. We have been deleting threads, and giving out warnings. Some members didn't get the clue and re-posted over and over... Now ANY member buying or selling in this section will be banned... No IF's AND's or BUT's.

Beginner Forum Rules - EVERYBODY read! (old and new members alike!)

Beginners start here. Once you have 30 worthwhile posts (off topic doesn't count) you may post outside of the Beginner forums. Any "whoring" (posting simply to raise your post count) will return your count to 0, or result in a ban.

These are the rules. Read them. Live by them.

1) Absolutely NO flaming! "Flaming" is an outright attack on a member. ALL questions are encouraged to be asked here, no matter how basic. Members with over 30 posts will be subject to a ONE WEEK ban if caught flaming in this forum (and yes, moderators can read deleted posts). Members with under 30 posts will be subject to a ONE DAY ban.

2) Use appropriate language. Racial or sexual slurs will not be tolerated. A ban will be issued at the discretion of the cb7tuner.com staff.

3) No items may be sold in the Beginner forums. Any "for sale" threads will be deleted.

4) Temporarily banned members will be PERMANTLY banned if they are found posting on another account.

The rules can and will be added to. Any updates will be marked in the title.

The rules for the overall forum can be found here:
http://www.cb7tuner.com/vbb/forumdisplay.php?f=144
Read them. You will be expected to follow them.

is the fuel pressure at the right PSI? you could have a pump thats going or your fuel filter needs replacing.

fuel injector leak? Check the air filter, wouldnt make much of a difference but still helps to clean. Check fuel pressure, and is there any sort of short in the ignition system? I once had a short across my dizzy rotor that caused a whole hell of problems. Moisture in the gas tank? could be because the dizzy is to far advanced and is putting too much fuel in and not burning it off til 1.5-2K rpms.

The person who made this thread. He's made the same thread twice... and hijacked someone else's unrelated thread to ask this question.

First, check your basic tune-up items (plugs, wires, cap, rotor, air filter, fuel filter, etc.) and go from there.

Most likely, its something like that.

If it doesnt go away afterward, then check your timing/etc.

If you have bosche platinum plugs, get rid of them by throwing them at whomever told you they were the best plugs for your car, and replace them with NGK or Denso ONLY.

That's the best advice so far. Take care of basic maintenance and wear items, THEN look for something broken.

I spent 2 days trying to help diagnose a problem with a guy's VTEC once, and he neglected to tell me he was running a non-VTEC ECU. Make sure everything is as it should be... then we'll figure out what isn't working.

And for god's sake... type so we can understand you! Punctuation, spell check, general coherency of your statements... You expect us to take the time out of our lives to help you with your car, how about you take a little time in typing your question so we know what you need from us?
